Braveheart Academy 2 - Roaming the Campus!
🕑 Added 2023-03-18 23:45:55 +0000 UTCBefore anything else, the girls are in a different classroom for showcase purposes, you'll mostly be all together in the classes unless in case of events or other reasons.
So, yep!
That means there's 50+ renders, all unique, just for the babes, sitting in class, waiting to be talked to!
So what to expect from Braveheart Academy 2?
First and foremost let's address the core complaints from BH1:
- Lack of H Content after a girl's route was completed.
- Bad RNG and the late game would cause for a horrid slow experience as sometimes the school would be empty for days.
- Pressured to follow a certain order of girls to complete the side events since those were locked behind a calendar.
- Weird Stat Beginnings. (This was due to a "lil" over ambition)
- Money Issues/Balance.
- Savefile lost after updates. (Sloppy programming for BH1)
Q: Are questions about the girls like height/foods etc... in the game?
They are not there in the same way, because in BH1 they felt forced most of the time.
So implementation about it has been changed and is now under another system, made so you can learn more about them organically instead of having it forced in a place.
You'll find information like this by doing small talk with the girls!
Q: What is that system of Small Talk / Flirt / Event / H Request?
A school is alive, and so are the girls. (Or so I aim to make them feel as such!)
With so much variation going through the days, where you can talk and flirt with the girls in tons of different scenarios will make for a definitely memorable experience at the cost of a little more development time, but these small additions improve the game's feel and quality tremendously.
In short, Small Talk & Flirt are there for the casual talk between characters.
Flirt is to flirt with the character, do that without knowing them well enough, and that might get annoying for the girl!
The event button will only pop up if that character has an event.
(More info on this on the question "Will bad RNG make me angy?")
Q: What's the H Request?
After you've been acquainted with a girl you can request several things to do!
Different characters will have different options, but there will always be a reason to go back to a certain girl the more you increase her affection!
Q: Will bad RNG make me angy, will you waste my time again Chrys making the school feel empty?
No!
That's why the system above is being implement, make it feel alive and the complete opposite than BH1, you're a class, and you should be able to interact with everyone at all times!
So, no more RNG in BH2, every girl now will show up regardless and you can do small talk if you want to advance with them regardless, they slowly advance time and you can spam the girls, but it will be a much better experience overall.
The girls that have events will be marked by a "!" icon both on the map as well as the character portraits.
(Not yet implemented but it will be!)
Q: Okay since there is no pressure for events and girls can be completed at a more natural pace what's the money for?
The money will mostly be for Meet N' Yeet!
And a new sexy addition for a lack of a better term... but it's a new thing coming toMnY.
Its approach will be different, no spoily spoily, you'll see it when it's completed
in a later preview ♥!
Q: Okay cool how do I make money, mayhaps... PUZZLES?!?
Puzzles are back baby!
Before you roll your eyes, yes THEY ARE skippable.
(You can turn them off in the settings like last time!)
ᴸᶦˡ ᵇᶦᵗᶜʰ
And yes they now give you money even if you skip them because I love you.
(But I will still give more money to those who complete the puzzle on the first try because I love them more ᴸᶦˡ ᵇᶦᵗᶜʰ²! )
I fixed some bugs in it and improved the visuals, should get showcased at a later date as well.
