She made her film debut in the 1998 romantic comedy The Object of My Affection, and the next year she appeared opposite Michael Caine and Charlize Theron in The Cider House Rules. She has been subsequently cast in many films. In 2009, Paz was cast in HBO's Boardwalk Empire, which is set in Atlantic City during the Prohibition era.

Thank you so much Nick and Paz. paz you are incredibly inspiring. I am currently at the beginning of an investigation into my trafficker from 16 years ago. When we break the silence we are shedding the last tool our traffickers forced upon us. The silence is the strongest tool of exploitation. I'm afraid there are many like her which is so more than sad, our world is being destroyed before our eyes and yes, often women are much worse traffickers than men. I see these women as the ones who know very well they have lost big time, the minute they are exposed. It's about envy, insecurity and, it's about a hate against other women so bad, it's impossible to find words for it,. Her βparentsβ arenβt a mother and father, just an egg donor and sperm donor and what monsters. What they did and would still be doing if allowed is horrifying. I pray this woman overcomes and that she is vindicated! May Christ give her the peace that passes all understanding. EMDR is a great tool for PTSD, hypnosis, not so much. Thereβs a special place in hell for women who enable/foster abuse of any kind or for those who do the abusing! Heartbreaking story, Nick. We truly live in a fallen world.
