Wait... Doesn't the system treat Jade as a monster? What if she can't recieve remnants because of that reason, while simultaneously being raised as a sapient/person makes her able to generate them.

Either Jade has decided she doesn't need to hide any more, or she thought she could lean into the guardian/devil thing with the clones. Those are my guesses

What? That isn't what the chapter says at all. At no point does it say that there may be a gold core, or any person at that, contained inside the remnant.

It's true, I've been a little confused about what makes an interlude and what doesn't lately.

On a separate topic, what does eveyone think about the second possibility mentioned, that the remnant is housing someone who ascended to Gold core? I'm not seeing evidence of this from Jade's thoughts in the previous chapter. If one of her clones got trapped inside the sphere, that's the sort of thing she would have mentioned.

So... System recognizes that Jade is a person, grants her a remnant, but she's also a monster, so she doesn't have an inventory system and can't accept it? Is that about right?
