Annabelle & Bridget, Part Eight
🕑 Added 2024-08-09 03:29:12 +0000 UTCTrixie was on the other side of the room, dusting the baby grand piano that could have probably gone another month without being cleaned in such a way. At least, that’s the way my low/middle class mind operated. My family cleaned every X weeks depending on the chore, or sometimes just when it looked like it needed to be done. Meanwhile, the Alodia family had enough disposable income to have someone like Trixie around to ensure everything was spotless all the time.
The maid uniform she was wearing had made me feel so self conscious and ridiculous earlier. Now I was jealous that she was dressed, while I was standing there in just my underwear. She glanced up when I stepped into the room, not reacting in the slightest to my near nudity. Just like earlier, when I at least had my bra. Getting right to business, Trixie said, “Does Ms. Annabelle need something? Or did she dismiss you?”
It took me a moment to remember why I was down here in the first place. My recent focus had been on the nervousness of wandering the intimidating house in my state of undress. “Umm, snacks,” I belatedly said, “She and Bridget-”
“It’s ‘Ms. Bridget,’” she cut me off with the correction, “All of Ms. Annabelle’s guests are to be treated with respect. And a pet like you is to speak clearly when she’s asked something. Do not hesitate, do not say ‘umm’ or anything else improper. Do you understand, Mere?”
Despite the fact that she just told me not to, I ended up faltering for a moment before muttering, “Yes, Trixie.” It was so much to take in. Of course, I already had dealt with the ‘Ms. Bridget’ thing upstairs, but it was still rough to hear from another source that I was expected to address my former rival in such a subservient manner. I was more caught off guard by just how casually Trixie labeled me, as well as her insistence that I should be talking more like her.
She went on to explain, “Ms. Annabelle and her family don’t like their time to be wasted, nor do they expect to be distracted by a maid stumbling over her words. When they ask a question, you answer directly and politely. When you’re told to do something, you affirm that you’ve heard the task and drop everything you’re doing. Once it’s done, you may resume what you were working on before, unless you’re given another task upon your return. Does that make sense?”
In theory. Except even though I was wearing a collar and had reluctantly allowed myself to get caught up in the obedience thing, I still didn’t view myself as a maid. Yes, I had dressed up like one and done chores for a couple hours, but still. After everything, I was still compartmentalizing the intimacy with Annabelle, my role as her tutor, and the other stuff.
Responding a little more quickly the second time around, I nodded, “Yes, Trixie . . . ”
“Good girl,” she said, “Now, let’s try this again. Does Ms. Annabelle need something?”
Taking a breath, which was becoming a bit of a crutch in terms of staying calm amidst the constant nudity and submissive moments, I replied, “Yes, Trixie. She and Bridg- Ms. Bridget asked for a snack. And for me-” I should have just stopped after the first part. Now that I had continued with what Annabelle told me upstairs, I had no choice but to communicate the rest, “For me to assist, if needed.” Also, not my best performance, even when I was trying to speak more clearly as I clutched my bare breasts. At least I remembered the part about how it was only if Trixie needed a second set of hands, though that had been the case the last time I was sent down to get food for Annabelle.
Maybe it was better that I didn’t omit anything; if Annabelle found out I didn’t deliver her message verbatim, she would probably punish me.
Before I could mentally revisit the absurdity of feeling so intimidated by a girl who was my junior by two years, Trixie said, “It will be more efficient if you assist. We wouldn’t want to leave Ms. Annabelle waiting, would we?”
‘We.’ Because the redhead upstairs was the spoiled princess, and I was more or less a servant like Trixie. Viewing Annabelle as spoiled didn’t do a thing to snap me out of my subservient state, as I couldn’t help but agree with Trixie. Taking too long down here would make me nervous.
I followed Trixie into the kitchen, where she wasted no time in telling me to wash my hands and that I was not to cover my chest any more. For a moment, I was curious how that possibly had anything to do with being a proper maid. Instead, she pointed out that it wouldn’t be sanitary to touch anything but the food and the kitchen utensils I was working with. I had showered that morning, and didn’t love being banned from protecting my modesty, yet I would be exposing myself either way as I helped Trixie prepare whatever she had in mind. Ultimately, I just had to accept that she was a girl as well, and had no doubt seen plenty when serving ‘Clothes are a construct’ Annabelle.
She put me in charge of cutting various cheese slices, for what ended up being a charcuterie board that put any of the ones I had ever seen before to shame. I really didn’t notice until it was nearly done, as I was too busy feeling awkward about being casually topless in the kitchen. Rather than a simple meat/cheese collection, Trixie had included a variety of fruit, nuts, dips, and even a few chocolates. I would be surprised if Annabelle and Bridget got through half of the spread. Then again, the point was probably offering a variety, instead of a precise quantity.
Naturally, Trixie did most of the work. Not surprising, considering how often she cooked for Annabelle on top of the cleaning. Although based on my experience last time, I was expected to learn how to do some of this stuff myself.
“Okay,” Trixie said, stepping back and gesturing towards the food, “Take this up to Ms. Annabelle and Ms. Trixie.”
‘But, I-’
Well, never mind. I was going to say that I would need to use both hands to hold the wide board, until I remembered that my breasts had already been fully on display in Annabelle’s suite, and I doubted the girls were going to change their mind about my ability to cover myself while nearly naked.
Instead, I lightly blushed, shivering slightly in the cool kitchen that would have felt much better in what she was wearing, and said, “Yes, Trixie.”
Then I tentatively took the board and made my way upstairs, where Annabelle and Trixie could be doing any number of innocent or not so innocent things with each other.
