From Taylor to Tay-Tay-, Chapter Six
🕑 Added 2025-02-02 22:35:01 +0000 UTCOnce Taylor was sure that Sarah was gone, he made short work of removing the dress he had been wearing for hours at this point. Unfortunately, he couldn’t do the same with the panties. He was going to have to keep those on all night, as going commando made him even more nervous because of his size down there. For the next few days, he was going to have to be extra careful at school and at home, as the slightest glimpse of the waistband could be enough to sink him.
Taylor also undid the pigtails and did what he could to get his long hair back to normal. As a typical teenage guy, he didn’t really care that much about hair maintenance, though it did take a bit more time and effort to deal with his hair in general compared to his peers that kept theirs shorter.
Eventually, laundry was going to be an issue. He had shoved the dress from the previous day into the back of his closet, along with the panties he had taken from the Lost & Found out of desperation. Now he had double the dirty clothes to worry about. Of course, having dresses and panties in his hamper paled in comparison to all the girly outfits currently hanging in his closet. If anyone was idly searching his room, they’d see the collection of clean dresses way before they noticed what was buried underneath his own dirty clothes.
Still. He was going to have to throw everything in the washer at some point, and would need to find a time where he knew for a fact that his sister would be out of the house for a while. And, for good measure, maybe even add some clean t-shirts or something so he could have plenty to cover the rest. While it was a short walk from the laundry machines to his bedroom, Taylor wasn’t about to risk running into Anna while one of her old dresses was visible in the hamper.
Once he was mostly in his own clothes and his room was in a state where all the doors and drawers were closed in case Anna stopped by for whatever reason, Taylor ripped off the bandaid of the immature assignment Sarah had left him to tackle in her absence. He brought the laptop over to his bed, as he was going to have to watch My Little Pony in a spot where the screen couldn’t be seen in the slightest from the door, and grabbed his headphones to avoid the risk of the show being overheard as well.
He only got five minutes into the first episode before pausing it. Sarah had said that she was going to quiz him, and he was way too distracted to focus. For starters, he was still in disbelief that the nerdy girl had confiscated his clothes. And then there was everything else. His car, in whatever lot it had been towed to. His name, in the daycare system, with his sister as their contact. Panties, at school; that was still the most daunting of all the recent developments.
Finally, he was going to have to figure out what to tell his teammates and his coach about why he was going to be missing more practice. He obviously wasn’t injured, and there were only so many bullshit conflicts he could come up with when everyone on the team knew that baseball was a higher priority than ever due to how well their season was going.
Eventually, Anna came home and knocked on his door soon afterwards. She immediately commented on his hair, which had become a habit of hers whenever he had bed head or otherwise hadn’t bothered brushing it. Anna never outright called his longer locks girly, though she did imply it most of the time; to her, his wannabe rockstar thing wasn’t as cool as her brother seemed to think it was.
“Hey. Do you have fifty bucks for me?” she asked, getting right to it.
Taylor’s own voice sounded a bit weird and unfamiliar as he responded; he had been doing the shy little girl voice for hours, and this was the first time he had said anything out loud since Sarah left. He pointed out that it was only forty or so, until she reminded him that they had agreed on gas, coffee, and interest. It wasn’t her fault that he hadn’t asked how much.
Taylor then realized that Sarah still had his phone. Had she forgotten to give it back, or had she taken it with her on purpose? The latter, probably, though he couldn’t be sure. As for the money he owed Anna, Taylor didn’t have that much cash on hand. “Shit,” he muttered, “I left my phone at school.”
“And your car, again?” Anna asked. Her tone wasn’t quite accusatory, but she did sound a little curious. By now, the two of them had their high school routines, and Taylor wasn’t normally the type to carpool anywhere when he had the freedom of his own car.
“I’ll pay you back tomorrow,” Taylor said. Surely Sarah wasn’t planning on holding onto his phone indefinitely. He still had a life; as thoroughly as Sarah had disrupted it, she would have to let him maintain some degree of normalcy to keep his friends from getting suspicious about his absence. “And, umm . . . Can I ride with you again tomorrow?”
Leaning against the doorframe, Anna stared him down. “You’re not trying to hook up with one of them, are you? Trust me, you’re not their type.”
“What? No!” he exclaimed. They weren’t his type, either, plus he had no interest in fooling around with sophomores. “My friends just hate waking up early.” It really wasn’t a lie. Phone or no phone, it would’ve been a pretty big ask to get one of them to swing by. After practice? Easy. Before 8 AM? Definitely not.
“I mean, I guess,” Anna shrugged, “That will be another $40 for gas and coffee, plus interest on both days if you don’t pay me back by 1st period. So, $100, give or take. Cool?”
Not cool. Their parents did give each of them a rather generous monthly allowance, as a way to make up for the fact that they were away for so long on their travels. Taylor did have enough to pay Anna’s absurdly high price; he’d just have to be more careful with his spending for the next couple weeks. “Fine,” Taylor muttered. If he just had his phone, he could order an app-based ride for so much less than that.
Anna was just being a brat, and was no doubt charging him so much because she knew he would only ask for such a favor if he didn’t have another choice, as well as the fact that his presence in their car was screwing with their usual dynamic. Naturally, her solution was to extort him for her troubles.
The following morning, Taylor started by changing into panties that were similar to what he had picked out the day before. Avoiding the pinks and purples in his underwear drawer, he went with a white pair that had a cartoon print of one of the ponies from the episodes he had eventually given his undivided attention last night. It had nothing to do with the childish show; he just needed to stick with white. While he planned on being extra careful with all of his movements throughout the day, there was still the slightest chance someone might glimpse the waistband of his feminine underwear. If all they caught was a hint of white, he was hoping they’d assume it was laundry day and he was stuck wearing a pair of briefs. He would have much less deniability if someone noticed a flash of pink underneath his clothes.
He also had to stuff Anna’s old backpack into his own, and would eventually have to deal with the hassle of switching to hers after school. The one convenience was that he was able to store his daycare outfit in the purple bag, while keeping his normal stuff separate.
Once again, Anna’s friend pulled over and let Taylor out a block from the parking lot. Considering how popular he was as one of the best players on their school’s best team, it didn’t make any sense to him. But his social ranking amongst the senior class wasn’t necessarily the same as it was the other grades, especially those who weren’t particularly into sports. That, and Anna being his sister meant she and her friends weren’t as starstruck and/or intimidated by the baseball players like others were.
The moment Taylor stepped through the front door of the school, he had to remind himself that he was only drawing a few looks because of who he was, rather than how it felt like everyone in the nearby area somehow knew that he was wearing panties. He made his way to his locker and grabbed his stuff for First Period, taking some solace in the fact that he wouldn’t have to deal with Sarah for another hour.
He did have to deal with a few of his teammates, who immediately gave him shit for skipping practice. It wasn’t his fault; it was Sarah’s! Of course, he couldn’t tell them that. He also wasn’t the type to apologize, not that he was normally in a position like this. “Blame my fucking parents,” he shrugged, committing to the lie about how it was some appointment he couldn’t get out of, “You think I wanted to miss practice?” The half truths came easily. He was being genuine about his annoyance; it was just the excuse that was bullshit.
At some point, Taylor was going to have to figure out an explanation for why he was also going to be missing today’s practice, as well as tomorrow’s. Would it be better to simply not show up, or tell the guys ahead of time? The former would save him from being badgered about it, though the coach wouldn’t appreciate him giving no warning like that. Taylor had been so worried about all the Sarah stuff that he hadn’t spent much time thinking about the baseball side of things; he would need to come up with something by the end of the day.
Soon, it was time for the most daunting part of the day–Second Period. That was his first class of the day that he shared with Sarah, and he had absolutely no idea what to expect. He was supposed to be her boyfriend? Aside from reluctantly agreeing to her terms, Taylor hadn’t been given any details about the arrangement. On top of that, he hadn’t really dated in general throughout his time in high school, so faking it wouldn’t come very naturally.
Apparently Sarah was going to get the ball rolling. The moment Taylor and the two guys he was walking with approached the door to their next classroom, Sarah happened upon them from the opposite direction. “Tay-Tay!” she exclaimed. For an unpopular girl who normally avoided contact with the jocks in her grade, Sarah was surprisingly fearless as she bounded up and threw her arms around him. She pushed things further by planting a kiss on his cheek, pulling back and smiling down at him. “Hey, babe. Miss me?”
Taylor stiffened from the embrace, not expecting her to launch into such an over the top greeting. Sure, Sarah was attractive enough, albeit in a nerdy way. At the same time, he wasn’t interested in her like that, both due to her social status as well as how thoroughly she had humiliated him over the last couple days.
Then there was ‘Tay-Tay.’ That was a million times worse than ‘babe,’ which was a perfectly common pet name in relationships. And in front of his teammates?
Both guys flanking him seemed more confused than anything else. Before Taylor could process everything he was just hit with, one of them muttered, “Umm, what?”
At nearly the same time, the other echoed, “Babe . . . ?”
Sarah giggled, taking a step back and asking, “You didn’t tell them, Tay-Tay? It’s been, like, a whole week.”
“Wait, you two are dating?” the first guy asked, “Seriously?”
Finally recovering, knowing that the only way to do damage control was by keeping Sarah from running away with this, Taylor said, “Umm, yeah. It’s kind of a long story.” That was an understatement. As for this being sprung on his teammates in such a way, he and Sarah definitely should have gotten their stories straight before now.
“You mean a cute story!” Sarah said, “I was just supposed to be tutoring him in History, until he kissed me out of the blue one night. The rest is, well, history!”
Taylor tensed up again. All of a sudden, the story was that he was into her. What was he going to do, deny it? He and Sarah both knew full well that he’d rather take the small reputation hit of ‘dating’ a girl who would normally have no chance with him, when the alternative was completely out of the question.
His other friend scoffed. “Actually? No offense, Sarah. You just don’t really seem like his type.”
“Tell them, Taylor,” Sarah smiled, “I was cool with the cute ‘dirty little secret’ thing at first, but you promised we’d go public now that we’re official.”
“Umm, yeah. She’s my girlfriend,” Taylor said, making sure not to cringe. While Sarah obviously enjoyed seeing him squirm, she probably wouldn’t appreciate any negativity towards their fake relationship. He would just have to play along for now; they only had so many classes together, since she was taking more AP courses, so he would just wait until it was him and his friends. Then he could make up something about how it was a dare, or that he was just using her to get her to do his History homework, or something else he’d brainstorm over the next hour. There were really only so many plausible explanations.
“That’s my boy,” she said, “See? I told you it wouldn’t be a big deal. Taylor was so nervous about what you guys would think. He may act all tough, but he’s really a big softie!”
Luke, the more outspoken of the two of them, chuckled and said, “About time you got a girlfriend, Tay-Tay. Want to join us for lunch, Sarah?”
“It’s ‘Taylor,’” he flatly replied. There were some advantages to being single, like how he was immune from the teasing the majority of his teammates had been through over the years. The moment someone’s girlfriend was out of hearing range, it was fairly common for the others to echo pet names, the girl’s mannerisms as they talked to him, etc. Nothing particularly malicious; it was just a simple and immature way to give each other a hard time.
In this case, Luke wasn’t even waiting for Sarah to leave; with a cutesy nickname like ‘Tay-Tay, he clearly couldn’t help himself.
“Right. Taylor,” he grinned, “Well, Sarah? What do you think?”
Obviously, Taylor didn’t want her there. She had done plenty in the last thirty seconds; he didn’t want to think what a full thirty minutes with his ‘girlfriend’ would provide the guys he sat with most days.
Sarah didn’t seem to notice the look on his face, or chose to ignore it. “Sure! As long as I get to sit next to Taylor.” Stepping forward to give him another kiss on the cheek, she smiled and said, “Anyway, I need to go ask Mr. Jackson about something before class starts. Oh! Tay-Tay! You forgot your phone at my house last night.” She pulled out his device from her purse and handed it to him.
Well, that answered his question as to whether or not Sarah planned on holding onto his phone the same way she now had a good amount of his clothes. The cost of getting it back, however, was that the brunette’s lie about why she had it made the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing more plausible.
The moment Sarah turned and disappeared around the corner into the classroom, both of Taylor’s teammates glanced towards each other. They were smiling, but not laughing beyond the scoff from a minute ago. Amusing and unexpected as all of this was, Taylor was still Taylor. Short as he was, he could be plenty intimidating when he wasn’t dressed up like a little girl and letting Sarah boss him around. And yet, this development at least opened the door for his teammates to test the waters now that they had witnessed a bit of weakness in the form of a nerdy girl being friendly and affectionate with him.
Taylor was saved by the bell. It was time for class, and Mr. Jackson was the kind of teacher who had his students sit in the same seats all semester. Sarah was near the front, and all the baseball players were in the back. Making sure his clothes weren’t in danger of riding up, Taylor sat at his desk and started thinking ahead. After class, he’d have to spin some story to his friends about why he was really dating Sarah. Then he’d have to deal with her subtly patronizing antics at lunch. And at the end of the school day, Taylor was going to skip practice and go to daycare again.
It was a lot. Again, Taylor found it difficult to ignore the feeling of the panties he was wearing when he started thinking about dealing with pigtails and a dress for the third day in a row, not to mention all the immature, girly activities he’d have to participate in.
For the time being, he merely sat in the back row, scowling at the back of Sarah’s head and wondering what it would take to make her back off. Nothing, really. He really was at her mercy; the only way to survive her frustrating antics was to keep allowing her to chip away at his dignity.
When their teacher wasn’t looking, Taylor glanced at his phone for the first time since yesterday afternoon. His eyes widened when he saw that the lock screen had been changed to bright MY LITTLE PONY artwork. And, at the top of his notifications, there was a message from Sarah that started with, ‘Morning, Tay-Tay! If you’re a good little girl . . . ”
