The Weekend Visit, Part 47

I definitely didn’t want to wear the wet padding for longer than I already had. Not only was it gross and uncomfortable, but the rash I had down there was only going to get worse if I kept walking around in used diapers instead of getting changed right away. That, and I had learned again and again that it was better to go along with whatever Kate told me to do; this time, she was even warning me what was going to happen if I continued pushing back.
It did make sense. Kind of. Like Kate said, my diapers were already wet. She was changing me either way, so it wasn’t as if a second ‘accident’ would do much to impact that process. The main issue was the principle of the thing, though the time pressure countered that slightly as well.
After a couple seconds of quietly deliberating, I muttered a frustrated, “Fine.” The sooner I got it over with, the sooner I’d be in clean diapers and hopefully able to prove that I didn’t actually need such protection. Honestly, my confidence about that was wavering as well, considering how many times I had failed to make it to the toilet. Not that it was my fault.
Cheeks turning as pink as the girly dress I had on, I stepped away from Kate and reluctantly bent my knees in order to squat in the middle of the bathroom. I had heard a while ago that relieving oneself in such a way was actually more natural than doing so with the modern height of a toilet, though that definitely wasn’t referring to using diapers.
Regardless of the science or whatever, I did feel the need to go as soon as I was in position. Between the habit of doing so while in the bathroom, as well as squatting down in a way that was vaguely reminiscent of what sitting on a toilet did to my legs, my body was quick to inform me that I hadn’t yet peed this morning, and it was time to do just that.
At this point, I was committed. Kate was just going to chastise me if I tried to bail, and I still needed her to change me. Well, mostly her help to figure out the diaper pins, though she obviously wasn’t going to leave me to my own devices after that. Averting my gaze, as my sister was crazy tall when I was all the way down there, I did my best to relax my pelvic muscles as if I was a couple feet over and using the toilet properly. Actually, maybe closing my eyes would be better.
After a few long seconds, I felt the familiar sensation of letting go. What I didn’t anticipate was the sound. My diapers were already wet, and the bathroom was both confined and resonant. The light trickle quickly shifted into a more audible hissing noise. There was no doubt as to what I was doing and, if I could hear it, then Kate certainly could as well.
With a giggle, she said, “You really are something, Annie. Have you used the toilet at all since we left on Friday?”
‘YES.’ Well, kind of. The first time was with the diapers still snugly pinned onto me, when I couldn’t remove them before the inevitable happened. The second, or arguably the first instance of actually going without diapers on, was under Kate’s supervision; she literally wiped me afterwards, and I wasn’t sure if that round of ‘potty training’ even counted now that she had established the two week rule.
Treating her question as rhetorical, as I couldn’t bring myself to talk while wetting myself, I reminded myself that it didn’t matter what Kate said. Today was the last day I was going to be dealing with this nonsense. My parents knew I was the older sister, and there was no way they’d sign off on me going to camp like a tween, or any of this diaper nonsense.
Answering the question for me, she said, “Well, I guess there was that one time. But you needed my help, didn’t you? Hmm, we’ll have to talk about that later. It might make more sense for you to keep using your diapers, at least for a little while.”
What was that supposed to mean? Surely not what it sounded like.
Before I could ask, which probably wasn’t going to happen for at least a few seconds as I continued relieving myself, she procured the pink pacifier from the other day. “Here,” she said. Stepping forward and holding it to my lips, she simply said, “Open.”
Even if I wanted to argue, a single word on my end would cause my lips to part enough for her gentle yet insistent pushing to get the bulb into my mouth. That, and I was still dealing with the awkwardness and embarrassment of peeing in front of her, in diapers that were sagging further with every passing second. Either way, I blushed and took the babyish accessory between my lips.
“Much better,” she nodded, as things quieted down to a faint trickle, “I don’t want you whining during your diaper change. Do you remember your pacifier rule, Annie?”
Still blushing, I gave a small nod of my own. It wasn’t particularly complicated.
“Good,” Kate smiled, “And do you remember what you’re supposed to do next?”
Without the ability to speak, all I could do was physically demonstrate that I knew the routine by now. I stood back up and began removing the childish dress, cringing here and there at how the padding was now both soaked and warm in a bad way. Diapers, training bra, and a pacifier. There was no need to look in the mirror; I knew how immature I looked, and that my current image was night and day compared to the Annelise from a couple days ago.
Going through a diaper change with my sister never got easier. I was way too old for all of this, everything was on display as she wiped me everywhere down there, and the pacifier restricted me from any number of comments or complaints. Of course, that was probably why she thought ahead and made me suck on the demeaning thing.
A few minutes later, I was pinned into two clean diapers, complete with a generous pour of baby powder. Kate further fussed over me by pulling the dress over my body and standing behind me in a way that made it impossible to not look at the two of us in the mirror. “You’re the little sister, Annie,” she reminded me, “Two more weeks in your diapers, starting now.”
With that, she started braiding my hair into pigtails, quietly humming to herself for a moment before saying, “Oh! You’ll never guess what we’ll be doing on our last day with Luna and Lilah. It’s going to be so much fun.”
