I do not know why I am only just now putting together that Tenel Ka was probably a shameless rip-off of Mara Jade despite always being aware of Mara's existence by the time I was reading YJK. Oh well. Still love my one-armed princess.

just watched this when it dropped on nebula last night. fantastic watch, especially for someone who's first novels were EU. rip Mara Jade, she was a badder bitch than Disney deserves anyway, but, much like live action remakes, Disney cannot take away her from our hearts!
