I was excited when I saw this on Nebula!! I gave my students the choice of what to focus on the rest of the semester, and they wanted vampires. So this is being assigned as contextual viewing

YES! After reading the book 3 years ago I also watched the 1992 version and I was like “What is this?! Why did they do this to Mina and Lucy?” Excellent exploration of this tendency film adaptations keep on making.
