IMPORTANT:
If you played the previous version, it seems it still created save files, which are now corrupted and need to be deleted. Navigate to here: C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Kin and Quarry
And delete all 3 SaveFile folders.
Please do this if you're experiencing the game crashing on start.
Here's the patch notes:
Note: Current content ends at Layer 5. You should not be able to clear Layer 5, buf if you manage to do so, your game will crash, so it's really not worth it to even try.
- The game now actually saves and loads.
- New Settings: Drill Volume, Spawn Away From Drill
- Fox Miners will not travel long distances left or right for blocks, instead mining down if none are nearby. This will help with them to avoid falling into holes (though this will still happen), especially the one made by the Drill.
- Fox Miners no longer have a chance to randomly dig down. They will now only do so if there's no block in range horizontally.
- Blocks starting in Layer 2 have been given more health.
- More nodes in the Evertree skill tree have become available. It is still very much unfinished.
- You can now clear Layer 4.
- You now obtain Pale Orbs more easily and the maximum amount has been increased from 24 to 100.
- Nodes now play an animation when you can afford to purchase them.
