Blake Belladonna hated Cardin Winchester.
That shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone who knew her. Blake had been a proud advocate of Faunus equality ever since she stepped foot in Beacon. He was everything she stood against and why she joined the White Fang during their turn to violence. A crude, entitled, racist bully who thought he was better than everyone. He didn't reserve his bullying to just Faunus, of course - Jaune could attest to that - but Faunus students were some his most frequent targets. The animosity between the two of them began when she stood up for the poor rabbit Faunus. Her team tried to stop her at first, and even Cardin's retinue of goons tried to do the same for him, but they eventually gave up. They hated one another and there was no way around that. They'd kept up fighting until they were in their second year and showed no signs of stopping.

"We're training to be Huntsmen. Pain's an old friend, Jaune." The two didn't know and she wasn't going to tell them. Let the rest of her friends worry about it.
Cardin stepped inside the cafeteria. Unlike her entrance, everyone stopped to look at him. She'd gotten away with a couple of hickeys. He had hickeys, bite marks, and a rope burn around his neck. "So...guessing you won that 'fight'?" Yang asked.
"Yep," she said, popping the P. A bad habit she picked up.
"...You gonna 'fight' him again?"
"Yep."
"...I'm not even gonna ask. Just...make sure to bleach yourself before coming back to the room, alright?"
