Problems with Breaking Up with the RWBY Girls - Chapter 1
🕑 Added 2024-03-08 14:11:31 +0000 UTCNew story commission. This one obviously inspired by 'Problems with Dating RWBY Girls' by Obsequium Minaris. Except instead of focusing on the dating, it's more how Jaune tries to break up with them and how they (very poorly) react to being broken up with. Like that fic, the chapters are unconnected and have their own continuinities.
The first chapter is about our favorite Worst Girl Blake. After this will be either Weiss or Ruby, though I'll be writing at least the next chapter of 'This Girl's Kind of Weird' first (early for supporters as always). Future chapters may be M-rated. Not sure yet. We'll see.
And yes, I heard about RT shutting down and RWBY being sold. We'll see where the IP goes. Pretty sure we're likely to get a reboot, which I'm not against.

Jaune always wondered what it'd be like to have a girlfriend. Domremy wasn't a big town and he never had the confidence to shoot his shot. Once you missed, the entire neighborhood suddenly knew every dirty detail and you'd be the talk of the town. He hated the idea of it and so he kept to himself. It didn't make him popular, but at least he wasn't someone to point and laugh at for messing everything up.
His thoughts of having a girlfriend only got worse once he got into Beacon. Huntresses were objectively some of the most attractive people on Remnant, and their lifestyle (plus Aura) did wonders for their looks. They made even the prettiest girls back on Domremy look plain. Yang was a bombshell, Nora was a babe (though he'd never say that out loud to avoid offending Ren), and Ruby was really cute despite how much she claimed otherwise.
Pyrrha was attractive too, he supposed. Tall, muscles for days, and crimson red hair that put Yang's golden locks to shame (another thing he wouldn't say out loud to avoid getting beaten up). Not only that, but she was a kickass fighter and super nice on top of it. Anyone else (except maybe Ruby) would've blown their top once they found out about his fake transcripts, but she just accepted it and even offered her time and effort to help. Any guy would've been lucky to have her.
But he wasn't gonna go down that rabbit hole. She was his partner and practically a sister to him. It would've been awkward. Besides, he doubted she was interested in him.
And then there was Beacon's own Snow Angel, Weiss. He'd been...pretty insistent in trying to woo her. Dad always told him that all you needed in life was confidence and he'd taken that lesson just a bit too far. In hindsight, it was pretty obvious how much of a jackass he was being, but attraction and pride kept him from really seeing it. He was lucky that Weiss was still willing to talk to him, though he supposed that helping her out of her nightmare where she was some dominatrix general helped out a lot.
So yeah, Beacon was full of bombshells and women who put models to shame. After Weiss, he figured that getting a girlfriend just wasn't gonna happen. Besides Pyrrha and Nora, he didn't really talk to anyone outside of his team besides Ruby. He was friendly with Yang too, sure, but only cause he was besties with her little sister. They didn't exactly hang out or share a lot of interests, really.
...
Which was why he was more than a little surprised that he ended up with Blake, of all people.
Not that there was anything wrong with Blake (at the time...). It was just that they'd never talked before then. The B of team RWBY was an enigma. The cool, mysterious beauty, as she was called in the rumors. She was often found in the library or stalking around campus ignoring everyone around her. Her closed-off personality, which normally would've branded someone an outcast, instead only made her more popular. She was a mystery people wanted to solve instead of a freaky loner.
One of the perks of having the best butt in Beacon...
He remembered the first time they'd ever talked. The library was surprisingly packed that day cause of midterms and he needed a place to sit. The only place open was Blake's little corner. Despite the school being filled with the future protectors of mankind, apparently no one had the guts to sit next to her. Jaune felt pretty nervous himself, but the thought of remedial lessons with Goodwitch was enough to make him push.
"Hey, can I sit here?" Blake looked up from her book with a raised brow. Not unfriendly, but not welcoming either. He raised the stack of books in his arms, "I need to study, so..."
"...Alright."
The arrangement continued for the next few days. Blake saved him a spot and let him study. She even decided to help him out once he got stuck on a particularly difficult topic, which was nice of her. She was actually good at teaching, which was lucky for him. She commented how she knew how to study even though he wasn't as uptight as Weiss about it. It was why she was spending all her time in the library, actually. Ruby and Yang's scores on the last test didn't match her high standards and she was putting both sisters through her special brand of tender loving care. Blake decided she wanted no part of it.
Surprisingly, they kept talking after that. Blake continued to frequent the library and she didn't disapprove when he continued to sit next to her. The books changed from textbooks to comics and novels. While they didn't have the same taste - he just couldn't get into the 'tasteful literature' that was Ninjas of Love: The Gangbang Shogun - she was surprisingly easy to talk to when they were discussing books.
They even started talking outside of the library. Blake was the one who invited him to hang out in Vale during one day at breakfast, much to (almost) everyone's shock. Ruby and Weiss looked between them like they were making out right there on the table, Yang's eyes went wide like dinner plates, and Pyrrha's face pinched like she'd stubbed her toe and didn't want to make a fuss about it. Ren and Nora, of course, didn't much care much.
He agreed since he didn't see a reason not to and eventually they started dating. He didn't even know how it happened. One night while they were coming back from another outing, Yang had looked at them with the biggest grin on her face and asked them if they were dating. She wanted to embarrass them, find something to tease them over. Instead, Blake raised a brow, held his hand, and said that they were, so what?
Yang looked shocked for a moment before she smiled and said she was happy for them both. It was...weird. He honestly might've preferred her making fun of them. The others knew the next day, of course; Yang always had a big mouth. Ruby and Nora were all warm smiles and excited cheers. By contrast, Ren and Weiss were subdued. His brother from another mother nodded respectfully while Weiss just gave them a perfunctory 'Congratulations' along with a warning that he better not break her heart. Which was...sweet.
The only one who was off was Pyrrha. Her face had pinched even worse than before and she had to force the 'I'm so happy for you' out through gritted teeth. He didn't know why she looked so put off. Did she and Blake not get along? It was a shame. Blake really could be sweet once you got to know her. He decided to leave her alone and give her some space. She'd only get more annoyed if he tried to force them to get along.
It should have been perfect after that...
Should have being the word.

"AAAAHHHHHH!"
Jaune ran for his life as a mech rampaged behind him. How did he get here, he wondered, running and barely keeping himself from pissing his pants while a mech piloted by a crazy thief tried to kill him.
Oh, wait, he knew exactly how he got here.
Blake, his wonderful girlfriend, said that she wanted to do something different than their usual dates. Jaune, being the accepting young man that he was, agreed without even asking. He was always down for new experiences and he had no reason to think she'd do anything extreme. Her idea of a good time was staying at home curled up together reading a book, which was fine, but he wasn't against the idea of spicing things up.
Except it turned out her idea of 'spicing things up' was sneaking into a terrorist rally!
He'd barely even gotten any warning before she slapped a mask on his face and dragged him along into the crowd. He was a bundle of nerves throughout the whole thing, and it only got worse when Blake decided to leave him alone to investigate. No amount of pleading convinced her otherwise and he was left standing stock still and shivering like he was in the middle of an Atlesian snowstorm.
Then she decided to try holding Roman Torchwick hostage and very loudly told him to run. He appreciated the heads up, but he probably could've gotten away easier if she hadn't pointed him out to the crowd of bloodthirsty terrorists.
He still had no idea how he survived that. All he remembered was coming back to Beacon with his Aura in the red and Blake looking utterly confused on why exactly he wasn't so keen on having gone to a terrorist rally during date night.
He should've broken up with her then and there. Maybe that sounded cruel, but your girlfriend taking you to a warehouse filled with terrorists - human-hating terrorists - would've been a dealbreaker for just about anyone. Instead, he decided to give her another shot. Maybe it was just a fluke and they could put it behind them. Years down the line, they'd laugh about how silly she was.
And no, he didn't give her another chance because the ass game was ridiculous. Don't be silly.
The second chance ended with him somehow being dragged into a crashing train driven by the White Fang through Mountain Glenn. No, he had no idea how. Blake had her ways. He remembered screaming shrilly as the train crashed and they were forced to fight their way out through a horde of Grimm. By the end of it all he was a yelling, crying mess that had curled up into a ball. Not that Blake noticed. She was still obsessed with finding out what the White Fang's next plan was and didn't give him more than a pat on the shoulder and a perfunctory 'good job'.
Oh, and he got kidnapped a few days later. Some bull Faunus with blood-red hair chained him up and started ranting about how he didn't deserve Blake compared to him. They shared so much more, or so he claimed. Past his worry, Jaune wondered exactly how that relationship worked considering Blake was seventeen and the guy looked like he was at least old enough to drink, and that was a lowball guess.
When he asked, the guy just screamed about how love found a way and age was just a number. Creepy.
Teams RWBY and JNPR rescued him hours later, though they couldn't wipe away the trauma of having to listen to that guy recite his poetries and haikus about Blake's beauty. That would stay with him forever.
"Hair dark as the night.
She moves like a shadow cat
Her ears are just cute."
He had dozens more. The guy put the entire collection on his scroll.
So yeah, going out with Blake...wasn't the dream he thought it'd be. People thought she was quiet and introspective. Haha...no. The only reason for that was cause the White Fang was on her brain 24/7. She slept, ate, and breathed it. Honestly, he was surprised she hadn't dropped out of school to continue investigating them. She seemed to care about them more than fighting Grimm; or their relationship, he thought bitterly.
He needed to break up with her. He couldn't stand being dragged into investigating terrorists or dealing with crazy exes. Already he was getting messages from an anonymous number threatening him about how he wasn't good enough for Blake. He knew it wasn't the bull Faunus cause he was leaving threatening messages from another number along with more haikus.
He didn't want to hurt her, though. Despite how awful recent days had been, he still remembered the good times they had. He just had to...break it to her gently.
So it was that he called her up the next day so they could talk alone. He had to do this, Jaune told himself. It was for his own good. He wasn't going to survive if she dragged him into another one of her 'investigations'. No amount of hints that he didn't particularly like being shot at by terrorists would get it through her that it was a bad idea. In fact, she just smiled and said he was being humble.
He spotted her in her usual spot at the library and took a deep breath. It was now or never.
"Blake, we need to talk," he said. The library was empty now, and he knew that she wouldn't make a scene here.
She looked up and blinked owlishly up at him before her lips curled up in a soft smile. His resolve wavered and he gritt his teeth to keep from changing his mind. He wouldn't falter here. For the sake of not being hounded by crazy terrorists, psycho exes, and crazy psycho terrorist exes, he had to end it with her.
"Jaune, it's good that you're here." Her smile widened as he sa down.
"Yeah." She leaned forward, "I found out where the White Fang is planning to meet next. If we hurry we can go there and-"
"I wanna break up!"
...
Jaune winced. He'd said it way louder than he intended to. The librarian actually looked up from the reception desk while Blake gave him an unnervingly blank look, "What?" she asked, voice flat and devoid of emotion.
"I...I wanna break up," he said, softer this time. He leaned forward a bit to talk easier with her, "It's just...it's not working out. It's not you, it's me." It was absolutely all her, but he didn't say it out loud. He wasn't stupid, "Look, Blake, we've had some good times, but...I don't see us working out. We're on different paths." Her path involved picking fights with terrorists. His path involved picking fights with the creatures of darkness and hate. Much less dangerous.
"...Huh." She still kept that same passive, emotionless tone and looked at him with an unreadable expression.
"We can still be friends, I just...I can't be with you. I'm sorry." No response, "Uh, Blake...?"
Nothing. She stood up, turned on her heel, and left without a word. That...was weird. He knew Blake kept her feelings close to her chest, but that was cold even for her. He leaned back on the seat and stared up at the ceiling for a moment. Why did he suddenly have a bad feeling? He turned and saw the librarian glaring at him, which he forced himself to ignore. She didn't have to deal with a girlfriend who took him to terrorist rallies for date night.
Jaune sighed and stood up, making his way back to his room. He hoped things would get back to normal now.

Jaune awoke the next day to a muffled voice screaming outside of their dorm room. The blonde poked his head out of his covers and looked around through bleary eyes. It was still dark out with the sun still not peeking through the covers. The rest of his team was still asleep too. For a bunch of Huntsmen in training, they were some seriously heavy sleepers. Seven sisters meant he knew to wake up early to get the shower first.
The muffled voice - Blake's voice - kept screaming. Jaune's brows furrowed and he stood up in all his bunny onesie glory. He knew he'd just broken up with Blake, but that didn't mean he hated her or anything. He just couldn't date her. If she was screaming, maybe it meant she was in trouble, and he'd be a bad friend if he didn't try to help her out of it. With a firm nod to himself, he made his way to the door and opened it-
"JNPR IS UNFAIR! JAUNE ARC IS IN THERE! STANDING AT CONCESSION! PLOTTING HIS OPPRESSION!"
Only to nearly fall on his butt at the loud ferocity of her shouts. There Blake was, standing proudly with her cat ears exposed and a picket sign held with both hands. On the sign was a (very unflattering) picture of his face with a 'no' symbol on top of it. The red circle with a line through its center did nothing to hide from the mid-sneeze expression his sign self had.
"Blake, what the f-"
"JNPR IS UNFAIR! JAUNE ARC IS IN THERE! STANDING AT CONCESSION! PLOTTING HIS OPPRESSION!"
"Blake, what the hell?!"
The cat Faunus turned to him with a venomous look that put even Weiss' harshest rejections to shame. If looks could kill, he'd already be space dust by now. Her mouth curled in a sneer and she continued.
"JNPR IS UNFAIR! JAUNE ARC IS IN THERE! STANDING AT CONCESSION! PLOTTING HIS OPP-"
Jaune reached forward to try and take the sign from her. It didn't work - mostly because she had years of training ahead of him - and he ended up flat on his face when she flipped him over, but at least she stopped screaming. The rest of his team finally began to stir while the closest doors opened, tired and annoyed students peeking their heads out to see what all the commotion was about. For the future defenders of mankind, they had horrible reaction times.
"Ugh..." Jaune groaned. He really needed to learn how to keep his Aura always active, "Blake...what are you doing?" he asked again.
She glared down at him then raised her sign higher, "Telling people the truth: that you're a dirty, no-good racist."
"What?!" Jaune's scream was even louder than Blake's. Team RWBY's dorm room finally opened and an unrecognizable mess of white hair peeked out, glaring at them both through bloodshot eyes. Yikes, Snow Angel didn't look so good before her morning coffee and make-up, "I'm not racist!"
"Sure you are," Blake said with the conviction of the righteous, "You break up with me because 'it's not you, it's me'? I've heard that line before, Jaune. That's what every prejudiced Human says when they want an excuse to break up with their Faunus partners. They've had their fun and now they're going to find someone 'proper' and Human instead of an 'Animal'. People like you make me sick."
"But I-"
"JNPR IS UNFAIR! JAUNE ARC IS IN THERE! STANDING AT CONCESSION! PLOTTING HIS OPPRESSION!"
He didn't get the chance to say anything else. She marched down the hallway screaming her chant over and over, deliberately ignoring his pleas for her to wait. It was only when she rounded the corner, her voice fading somewhat, that everyone turned to face him. Jaune suddenly felt utterly exposed and he awkwardly shuffled back into his room to avoid their piercing stares.
The rest of his team was looking at him too. Ren was sympathetic, Nora looked more confused than anything else, and Pyrrha was...happy? She tried to hide it under her palm, but she was definitely smiling. He was glad she found this funny, he thought somewhat bitterly.
"So...you broke up with Blake?" Nora asked.
"I don't wanna talk about it..."
"Seems like she does," Nora quipped without missing a beat.
"Indeed. I doubt she'll let this go." Ren hummed.
Jaune groaned and collapsed onto the bed. Pyrrha patted his head sympathetically.
Ren was right, of course. She didn't let it go.
He'd barely sat down for breakfast across team RWBY before she glared at him, yellow eyes narrowed like she was looking at something profoundly disgusting, "...Racist." He didn't get the chance to say anything back before she picked up her tray and raised her nose in the air in a way that would make Weiss proud, "I've suddenly lost my appetite." She left, nose still raised.
...
"I have to say, I'm disappointed." Weiss shook her head, "To think that you would be prejudiced, Jaune."
"What?!" Jaune rounded on Weiss now, "Are you kidding me?!"
"I don't see anything funny about this. As someone who used to hold prejudiced views herself, I know how toxic and unhealthy such views can be. While I had my doubts about you, I never thought that you'd have such a narrow viewpoint."
"Yeah!" Ruby nodded vigorously, "You're being a jerk, Jaune!"
"You give other blondes a bad name." Yang clicked her tongue.
"That's not fair, Weiss," Pyrrha said. Jaune smiled, thinking that at least someone here had some sense, only for his smile to fall as his partner continued, "I'm sure Jaune has very good reason to have negative views of the Faunus. Maybe he had bad experiences with them like you did. We can't judge him for his views without listening to his side of the story." She turned to him, "Well, Jaune? I'm sure there's a good reason you don't like them."
"I'm not racist!" He slammed his hands on the table.
Yang snorted, "I doubt that. I mean, what other reason would you have to break up with Blake? Have you seen her ass? Pretty sure she made half the women in the school gay because of it."
"Alright, you wanna know why I broke up with her?" Jaune asked, "It's cause she's crazy! She drags me to fight terrorists and I have to deal with her crazy exes! And when I talk to her about it, she either ignores me or tells me it's no big deal! She thinks hunting down terrorist groups is romantic and something any couple should do! Of course, I broke up with her!"
Jaune panted, looking at each of his friends with a crazed look in his eyes. There, it was all out in the open now. He'd hoped to keep Blake from looking bad, but she'd pushed him. Now they'd understand that-
"Yeah, I don't buy it," Yang said, looking completely unimpressed.
"I must admit, I don't either." Ren shook his head.
"Yeah! Sounds like a good weekend to me!" Nora said.
"She took you to fight terrorists so you broke up with her? What kind of logic is that?" Weiss scoffed, "That's like breaking up with someone because they like vale fries or they style their hair a certain way. Either you're being disingenuous or extremely petty. Neither reflects particularly well on you."
"B-But..." Jaune stuttered and looked at Pyrrha and Ruby. His last hopes.
"I don't get it either." Ruby frowned, "She must've really trusted you if she took you fighting terrorists. Yang doesn't invite me whenever she picks fights with crime gangs. I'm 'too young'. I have to look for my own criminals to beat up."
Pyrrha didn't say anything and just looked guiltily off to the side. He was about to ask when everyone had turned crazy before he realized. They didn't become crazy; they always were. Ruby was sweet and loved strawberries and cookies but she'd still blow the head off of a thug with her sniper scythe without even blinking. Yang trashed a nightclub and picked a fight with the armed goons inside just to blow off steam before she got into Beacon.
And no one held it against them. Not even Weiss, and she complained about everything! Now that he was thinking about it, the only complaint team RWBY had against Blake after the first time she dragged him into hunting terrorists was that Blake didn't involve them. The fact that she'd put herself and him in danger wasn't even worth bringing up. To them, not wanting to be dragged into fighting terrorists just didn't make sense.
They couldn't understand why he held it against Blake either. Why would they? None of them knew that he faked his transcripts and was a civilian before Initiation. No one but Pyrrha, and that was why she didn't say anything now.
"Honestly, Jaune, you should just own up to your prejudice and move past it," Weiss said. She sounded stern, but also understanding. He felt like he was being lectured by his mom again, "You wouldn't want to be like that lout Cardin, would you?"
Jaune didn't say anything. He just put his head in his hands and cried.
Blake refused to let up her campaign after that. She put up posters on the walls decrying him for his prejudice, picketed whenever she had free time, and continued to turn his nose up at him as soon as he was even slightly near her. He was both disturbed and impressed with how long she kept at it. For a week straight she continued the same routine, painting him as the worst bigot in Beacon's history.
The worst part? It was working.
"Mr. Arc, please stay behind. We have to talk," Professor Goodwitch said after a particularly grueling combat class.
"Okay...?" He waited behind while the rest of his friends left...actually, he wasn't sure if he could still call them that. Pyrrha believed in him, bless her heart, but the others were convinced that he really was prejudiced. Weiss hadn't stopped acting like a disappointed mom for days now, "Is something wrong, professor?"
"Besides your middling - and that is me being generous - performance in my class?" Jaune winced, "Yes. I've been hearing talks about your viewpoints on our Faunus students and I suggest you take sensitivity classes in order to-"
"I'm not racist!"
"Do not raise your voice at me, Mr. Arc." Professor Goodwitch narrowed her eyes and he shrunk back, "This is merely a suggestion, one I also suggest you take. I've made the same suggestion to Mr. Winchester. Now, please hurry to your next class and take heed of my advice."
Jaune didn't say anything. He just nodded and trudged outside. The other students also believed Blake's claims of his sudden, never-before-seen prejudice, but they didn't do much more than make some veiled comments. These were the same students who didn't do anything while that Velvel girl got her ears pulled by team CRDL. They weren't gonna do anything about his 'racism' either.
He was just about to enter Professor Port's class when he got a clap on his shoulder. He turned around and blinked at the sight of Cardin looking down on him. The two of them had been avoiding each other since the incident at Forever Fall. Apparently, being saved from that Ursa was enough to make the bully give Jaune some slack with his transcripts, even if he still kicked the shit out of him in combat class.
"Yeah...?" Jaune asked tiredly.
"Been hearing some rumors about you, and...shit, this is hard." Cardin sighed and rubbed the back of his head, "I guess what I'm saying is...I was wrong about you. You and me...we have a lot more in common than I thought. You know, about how uppity those Animals are." Cardin smirked, "You wanna hang out sometime?"
...
That was it. He'd reached his limit. He had to deal with this now!
...
After class!
He found Blake getting ready to picket outside his dorm room again, "Blake, you and I need to talk. Now."
"I don't speak to-"
"Do it or I start blasting the haikus that bull Faunus gave me over the PA system."
"Pfft, you're bluffi-"
"My dangerous cat
Silent as the wind of change
When will you be mine?"
Blake's eyes widened as the voice emanated from his scroll, "That's just one. I have three dozen more to go, and I'll make sure everyone knows it's all about you. Everyone will know you as the haiku girl. You'll never live that down."
"...Fine." Blake cursed under her breath and followed him inside team JNPR's dorm. Empty. Good.
"I'm not racist," he said as soon as he closed the door.
"Right." Blake snorted, obviously not believing him, "I heard about the 'explanation' you gave. Breaking up cause I took you fighting the White Fang? Next time, try something a bit more believable."
"It's the truth!"
"That's like breaking up with Ruby because she likes weapons!" Blake stepped closer till they were practically nose-to-nose, "It doesn't make sense! What kind of Huntsman are you?"
"I faked my transcripts!"
...
"What?" For the first time in days, Blake finally didn't look so self-assured.
"I faked my transcripts to get into Beacon," Jaune said. Every word felt painful to say, "So yeah, spending days being attacked by terrorists isn't my idea of a good time! My favorite dates are going to the arcade or catching a movie, not going into life and death fights!"
"Oh...why didn't you just say so?" Jaune looked at Blake with an unreadable expression. The cat Faunus shrugged and crossed her arms, "You could've just said that and I wouldn't have brought you along. It's probably a good thing we broke up. Lack of communication like that kills any relationship."
Jaune wanted to say so much, wanted to strangle his smug ex-girlfriend for acting so damn nonchalant about it. Instead, he just sighed and let his shoulders sag, "Fine, so do you believe me when I say I'm not racist?"
"Sure. I guess I'm sorry for saying you were? In my defense, it was the most logical reason to think why you'd break up with me." It really wasn't, but he was too tired to argue right now, "I guess I should tell everyone it was a misunderstanding."
"Yeah. You really should."
"Alright. See ya."
She turned on her heel and left. That was it. No last words, nothing. Jaune just sat on his bed and stared at the floor. He didn't look up even when Pyrrha arrived, "Are you okay, Jaune?" she asked.
"Yeah. I...talked with Blake. I guess the problem's solved."
"Oh. That's good." She smiled and sat next to him, "So I was thinking, maybe you and I could-"
"And I realized something else," he continued, "Girlfriends are way too much trouble. From now on, romance is a no-go for me. Just friends for the next four years. Even if Weiss battered down that door and asked to date me, I'd say no. It's just not worth it." He smiled at Pyrrha, his partner and friend, "You get me, right?"
"Of course, Jaune. Please excuse me." She walked outside without another word before he suddenly heard thumping and yelling coming from outside. Weird, but Huntsmen were all weird, as he found out.
He was about to get ready for bed when he suddenly got a barrage of messages. One from Goodwitch, others from the rest of his friends(?)...and one from Blake. He suddenly got a bad feeling and tapped the message with a shaky hand.

Poor Jaune. Huntresses are weirdos on what's considered normal for date night. Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed it. Like I said, the next chapter will either be Ruby or Weiss. Weiss follows Blake's example of being petty while Ruby is still Best Girl. You'll see when the chapters come out.

Somehow I doubt Ren would be offended, maybe find it funny but he wouldn't hold it against Jaune. Nora might find it hilarious while very loudly talking about how much he must like redheads. Blake protesting Jaune was pretty funny. Though I'm surprised Blake didn't try to connect racism to his attraction to Weiss, maybe she didn't want to pull Weiss into this? Blake is truly Worst Girl here and I love it. Really hoping for a follow up chapter to this, maybe Blake coming on to Jaune to "Reignite that old spark" that spark that lasted maybe a week.
