I think it's safe to say that Alice does show signs of not wanting the kitten to sink into limbo.... But we'll get more definitive answers to our questions in the future ;-)

Given that Alice has been actively fighting the limbo tentacles for at least 100 pages now and has been preventing Ginger from going unstable, I get the feeling that whatever they're gonna do next, be it a drastic phyiscal shift into even further femininity or something else entirely... maybe what we thought Ginger is turning into was never Alice's intention at all? If so then, that's one hell of a plot twist and I applaud if that was the intention. That we all thought Alice was making a Sissygirl all along but that just turns out to be a massive side-effect to the actual intended one!
