In general, this is due to this patreon works on a per page basis (not per month). However, from what I know, if you are not satisfied with this, there is a way out - to prevent this from happening, you can set a monthly limit when subscribing to patreon (in 'set monthly limit' field)

So I’m a $1 member but for whatever reason the Patreon membership charges me $6 to $8 in several $1 charges each month. Why?
