Sooooo, I gather the IDEA is that the lock is made from Absurdium alloy, but you could also argue that the bolt cutters are just old. Cause otherwise they wouldn’t have broken with only Kitty’s noodle arms to power them.

The legendary bolt cutter, passed down from generation to generation. Used to cleave through the Conqueror Queen Chastity's unholy armor, used to tear down the Berlin Wall, and to slay the Legendary Dragon Knutt of mount Everest. Just found that dialogue funny strangely enough
