After one of your online friends pokes fun at you for only ever playing cozy simulator type games, you clap back with a defiant insistence that you just like this style of gameplay, and you can play any other genre of game if you so felt like it. As a direct result of this, you are dared by your friend to play a horror game - and not just any horror game, but a game you had previously sworn never to play due to how terrifying it was said to be. Despite your bravado, you are, erm… not of the constitution to really handle anything horror. But you do your best with the copy of the game you resolutely picked up, and you do manage to get through a good chunk of the game with only a few heart attacks! Not bad!
That is, until you get stuck on one specific chase sequence. And remain stuck for an hour. You’re stressed, on edge, pulse racing - and that is when your girlfriend decides to come downstairs and check in on you, having heard your yelps of fear. You were too stubborn to ask her to sit with you while you play… but your loving, wonderful, annoying partner knows exactly what you need in this situation.

I was so excited to finally be able to record this now that my schedule has freed up! I am unsure how long this lull will last, but I will be making the most of it and get to writing the next script asap :3
I really enjoyed writing and recording this audio! It was relaxing to not really think too hard about the dialogue. I did try to give it a lot of character, since I didn’t want this to be a generic, bland comfort audio - ended up really liking this girl lol. Oh, to have a partner like this,,,,

God, I love how supportive and loving you played that role X3 Not to mention that "Last out" plus the description of what was happening made me chuckle, giving me flashbacks to when I played it myself XD I could imagine it adds some difficulty to stay concentrated on a game, especially a horror one, while your Gf is eating you out Mmmmhh X3 Anyway. It’s so funny because I used to be scared of RE back when I first tried RE7, and now they’re all such chill games for me 😭 the police station, do you mean RE2? Remake is banger - I highly recommend RE1 remaster if you haven’t tried it, it’s a classic! Scariest thing about it is the old-school camera angles lol Thank you, Pip, likewise ♥️

As a gamer who didn't play my first Res Evil game because they scared me, until Res 8 came out and infamous dommy mommy peaked my...interest. I literally never finished Res 1 because I couldn't;t get out the police station due to fear 🫣🙂↕️ This was cozy though (like the games I like playing, after rogue-likes and dungeon crawlers though.) It sounds very dumb, but I have definitely been scared playing a Mario game 😭 but I was a kid at the time! There was this piano in one of the area that would attack if you walked too close to it and it spooked me the hell out (it had sharp teeth LOL) Though I can relate, I'm too scared to play horror games by myself I would need someone to play with to feel better I loved this so much it's both sweet and spicy!! 🥺 Amazing job as always!!

The way I jumped seeing a notif of you replying- yeah! Not a problem!! But I think I know what your friend is talking about. That part is also terrifying (I think it’s the water painting) and where I gave it to my moms to play instead (she finished the game repeatedly when young) anyways! Ranting! Sorry! Bye!

The whole thing with like..mentally preparing, and afraid of the vibrations of controller when hiding. I relate. But the one thing that hit too close to home was being afraid from a Mario game. IM SORRY, that Nintendo 64 Mario game ‘super 64 Mario’??? Bowsers laugh and music thing. Scares me so much istG Anyways LOVED this one! Your script writing always inspires me!
