You are the mistress of a lush estate, bequeathed to you by your dearly departed husband. Typically the estate would become property of the next male of the family, but your husband, after passing away a year ago, had not had any surviving relatives, and you had never born him any children. So the mansion was yours - a quiet place just for you and the dutiful staff under your employ. Sometimes you entertained guests, but more often than not you spent your time alone, reading in the drawing room or playing on the pianoforte. It was… lonely.
Abruptly, the monotony of your life is shattered when a new maid comes into your employ. A timid young woman, by no means older than five-and-twenty years of age, who you’re told by the head maid was taking care of her mother up until the woman’s passing. For a time, you don‘t pay her much mind - to be fair, she certainly does not seem to want to attract notice. The first time you ever spoke to her, she seemed jumpy, gaze darting to and fro as she wrung her hands.
But as time passes, you cannot help but notice her more and more. She is awfully clumsy - constantly tripping over herself and dropping things, cringing as though she expects a scolding. Her blush when you smile and gently assure her that no harm has been done, is quite gratifying… the more you pay attention to her, the more you find her endearing. She is really quite a pretty young woman, and much less quiet than she initially appeared. Before long, it hits you that you have, without altogether realizing, become enamored with her - despite what societal norms dictate are correct. But you are a widow, and lonely, and she makes you smile, so societal norms be damned. She has become a light in your life that you are most fond of… and you cannot help but quietly yearn.
After an incident the previous night, your suspicions that the sweet maid feels similarly towards you are all but confirmed. You ask the head maid to send the girl to your quarters, your heart thudding as you prepare tea with some apprehension. Perhaps this is a poor idea…. but you have to try.

There was absolutely zero PtN character who fit the vibe I wanted for her for the thumbnail, so I used Emeril from Lovestruck…. it’s missing Lovestruck hours again 😔
As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, this will be the only audio for November while I work on my current outside projects. But with this length, I hope this tides you all over until the next audio 🥺 I love you guys!

When I first found Sevira, this was the first audio I listened to. And it's still my favourite, I keep coming back to it! Love the range and the story, Maid x Mistress is among my favorite settings. This one always makes me a blushy gal.. >.< I pray one day this gets a sequel. ❤️

Fantastic audio as always 😙. I adore this character's personality, she is very sweet 🥰. I instantly recognized the audio picture as Emeril from Sweet Enchantments (Lovestruck) and I think that you will like to see these great news: There is a Discord server made by Lovestruck fans that has a fanmade project in which lots of creators have joined efforts to revive the game and they have done it + they are uploading all the gallery images from the game + they have created a program in which you can play all the Lovestruck stories again (it is a small team and they are doing what they can to upload + develop each chapter, but they are doing a fantastic job 🤓). Right now, they have paused the server invitations because there are strong rumors about Voltage Inc (the enterprise in charge of Lovestruck) being acquired by Nintendo, so there are big chances that the game will be revived again officialy (but I don't know if they are going to revive it as it was, or if they are going to change it), so, because of possible copyright infringments and sanctions from Nintendo, the public references to the server + the invitations are now on stand by, so no one new can join it until furthet notice 👀. But the fanmade project for Lovestruck hasn't stopped developing 👀👀. I thought it was good to inform other Lovestruck fans about this 🤗.
