I immediately thought of a Kilmonger-esqe storyline

Yo Kopa is one of those characters that I remember reading a lot of fanfiction about with him and Vitani. I would love to see them worked into a ship in the Pridelands. They could have their own little Lion King 2 plot that brings a tense peace between the families. You could even set it up for future drama through a betrayal or attempted/successful assassination.

It’d be interesting to see what you’d do with Kopa, especially considering it’s a popular theory that he was killed as a cub by Zira though I’m not sure if that’s true in the books or not. Could be cool to have everyone think he was killed just for him to pop back up years later.

Kopa is quiet well known and has loads of fanart posted on deviantart. Plus the fandom basically see him as half canon anyway so I don’t see why you couldn’t bring him in to the story
