Never alone (mini comic #697)
🕑 Added 2025-09-03 19:00:10 +0000 UTCBeen dreaming more Golden duo lately, which has gotten me to start thinking about them more as characters and their situations and how they may feel about it overall,,
I have to imagine in some way, Cassidy or CC is glad they aren’t alone while being dead, and haunting golden Freddy. Like they’ve been together for 30+ years, the only company they’ve had really is one another, and even though their situation isn’t the best, they are dead, they are suffering, at the very least of all that, they have each other
I think there’s something very bittersweet in that sentiment, and it’s something pretty unique to these two, seeing there isn’t many other haunted animatronics we know of haunted by 2 or more people, so they really do stand out in this regard,, anyway!! I hope you enjoy this comic!
⭐️ this is also a patreon request! Someone asked for some Cassidy and cc angst, so I hope this is good 💛💛

Being more serious, it’s always been my personal head cannon that the only reason Cassidy and Evan are so lucid is because they’re stuck together. Stuff like the Puppet’s line in UCN about “the others are like animals” and Evan’s seemingly missing memory in the log book has caused me to believe that the longer spirits possess the suits alone the more their sanity and awareness fades. Therefore the only reason that Cassidy, and Evan after he got his memory back was able to stay sane and themselves were because they were trapped together.

This is a really sad comic, but also MORE GOLDEN DUO HECK YA!

Definitely brought tears to my eyes imagining the horrors they've faced and actually remember despite only being children 😭
