🕑 Added 2019-09-05 18:49:04 +0000 UTCPatreon is putting in a new policy that reads like an extra "captcha" event or something like that when you pledge; going forward from the 14th onwards, you'll need to do this to be able to pledge to us or anyone else on Patreon.
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case they thought the prompt was like spyware or some sort of bug when they got it from this point onwards.

Can confirm. Nothing to worry about. I do it all the time when purchasing online.

For those in Europe: this is just the normal 3D Secure prompt (now 3DS2) you often see for any online transaction, not some new Patreon thing. There's a good chance you've already authenticated out of routine without realising.
