(Future Fragments) Progress + $10 Tier Tidbit + Ice Shot/Ability Controls + Audio Bug Fix (possibly)

Triangulate is nearly done with the Electric Boss, which is pretty insane, to be honest (what we have planned for it, I mean!)
I'll be dealing with voice actors primarily for this week, recruiting a lot of them for not only Future Fragments, but also Internal Interrogation and Reclaim Reality too!
Rtil is now going full time on the Electric Level Game Over CGs!
Fuyarinpa is, not surprisingly given his speed, done with the Electric Level soundtrack already, so he'll be moving back onto Reclaim Reality for the time being.
Stenzo K. is still knocking out SFX for the game!

$10 TIDBIT
Something I've been meaning to get into Patreon posts for a while and talk about is that those of you at the $10 level getting your name into the background, that's still happening, of course.
However, what I didn't clarify is that your name being in the background is actually part of a fairly large plot point within the game.
As to what that plot point is, you'll have to find out, but I figured you'd all like to know it's not just a simple "graffiti in the background for no real purpose" thing :P

ICE SHOT INTEGRATED/ABILITY CONTROLS
We've got the Ice Shot functional in the demo!
As you can see, it freezes enemies into chunks of ice, which Talia can then stand on and use as a temporary platform before the ice melts!
We'll be adding more effects/features to it over time to make it more obvious when the ice is about to melt, and of course you'll be able to do this to (almost) every enemy, so it should open up a lot of new paths for you.
On that note, I'd like to go over the boss powerups and a few other things about them real quick; with this next demo, you'll be able to press A/S to switch between boss powerups.
Whichever boss powerup you're on, you'll have three things happen;
1) A small visual effect will play to let you know what elemental boss powerup you've selected (Not in this demo or the next few ones, but will be in there eventually)
2) Charging a bit longer than your normal charge time will give Talia that boss's special "elemental charge shot", which will use one bar of mana. (Might be in the next demo, if not, will be in the next demo after this one)
3) Pressing the C button will use that boss's elemental utility ability. In this case, if you have Ice selected, she'll use the freezing Ice Shot; each of these abilities will use different levels of mana, but you'll gain more mana bars as the game goes on.
You can also switch your elemental boss powerups in the menu screen, too.
As a side note, all boss powerups are a combination of the element from that level as well as the boss's abilities and mechanics of that level.
- Fire dash = fire element + demon blob moving fast + air vents
Ice shot = ice element + boss literally freezing time + instead of breaking bridges, now you're forming them
Electric super jump = electric element + ??? + gravity switches

AUDIO BUG FIX
Thanks to Red on the Discord group (if you haven't joined yet, it's at https://discord.gg/eADgu38 come hang out!), we might have a fix for all of you having sound issues with Future Fragments!
- Step 1 - Go to your start menu and type in "Device Manager"
- Step 2 - Go to the "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" section
- Step 3 - If you have anything that says "Digital Audio (S/PDIF)", right click on it and uninstall it, then restart your computer
- Step 4 - Make sure you're connected to the internet, and give it a few minutes, Windows will install the latest audio drivers on your computer
The audio should work then; alternatively, you could just uninstall whatever audio driver you have, then reset, you might have a glitched or old driver!(edited)

As we've already shown a great deal of the Electric Level to you all, some of these posts will be kind of sparse, unfortunately, but we'll keep posting weekly!

The next demo, v019, will be out May 31st, and will have a number of improvements and additions :)

We'll probably be casting for FF last, after II and RR, just because we have to get the cutscenes implemented in-game/cutscene editor done before really casting for that, but we'll definitely keep you updated :)
Truth be told, i expected some graffity in background and was okay with that. This is great news to me and can't wait to see what you will do with "Overlord Rei". :)
