Personally, I think the Gardevoir animation is one of my higher quality animations as a whole, but I don't think it's nearly as polished as some of my other ones.

Don’t mistake your cup of tea for everyone else’s! The Gardevoir animation is super well done, but it’s not even in my personal top 5 of his works.

Absolutely! Self promotion always feels weird, but it’s very necessary. Your work is your business- businesses need advertising. Try to think of it not as “self promoting,” but as advertising a service. I’ve found this helps with the discomfort.

Tentative yes, depending on where you're advertising. People who come across your stuff, won't come across it by accident. I also feel those who subscribe, will be people who were impressed by you Gardevoir animation.

Personally I would mention animations because I think that’s what a lot of people look for I think. A lot of people create images but few create good animations like yours. But advertise the shit out of your art, go for it
