That's kind of what I had in mind, but less of a reluctant pred and more of an annoyed or indifferent pred. Like Mei's might have told dva that it was a bad idea, but she didn't really feel like arguing about it too much, so she just let dva tie her up for the viewers.

I love to imagine Mei as a reluctant pred whose friends keep coercing into vorny scenarios. Is that's what's happening with pushy DvA?
