I use MagicBots' ea feet socks. They are under the shoe category and make it look smooth when my Sims wear socks. That way I can still have the realistic sim toes lol

LOL! yeah, shoes with detailed feet won't work with socks because socks are mainly just a painted cover instead of a new mesh, so there's this issue. Maybe I won't use the detailed on when I make shoes that can be used w socks.
