bro $250k for US college ??? thats crazy i did my undergrad in (computer animation and special effects and a masters in creative tech) and im down about £30/40k and that's probs the average.. but when you hit like 60yo over here the debt just disappears and is wiped. also unless you earn like a certain amount you dont even have to start paying it back
