OH MY GOSH YES! SO MUCH YES! I’ve searched high and low for any OUaT reactions but come up dry. Your reaction did not disappoint, though obviously I haven’t seen all of them yet. I became a Patron for The Doctor, then I thought I’d move on to Smallvile but I think this’ll keep me hooked for awhile 😁

Rumple always reminded me of Frank Galliger from Shameless lol

The Sheriff is Christian Grey from 50 shades.... That's why he's smoking 😂👌
Silver
Oh. That's okay, Jim :) . I hope all is well.

Semalla, your comments are not going to Heidi, they're coming to me.

Yeah, after a certain point (I'm assuming somewhere around when you stopped watching, lol) it just wasn't the same. As you said, though, those first few seasons are so good!
Silver
Agreed! You made it further than I did but the first few seasons will always be nostalgic.

Hmmm that's good to know, Heidi. I can give the rest of season 4 as well as seasons 5-7 a try at least. Well I can only speak for myself, so it wasn't the introduction of Frozen that robbed the magic from the original OUAT plot; it felt like the main plot was steering away from the original characters I fell in love with. I felt Regina (my favorite), Emma, Henry, Snow, etc. were becoming side characters, and I was not fond of some of the new main characters like... *sorry spoilers, editing to keep it vague* ...Actually one concept in the later seasons questioned the idea of free will. With that said, I can at least acknowledge the fact that OUAT made it to season 7, which says that it's still a great series overall. I have to give the later seasons a fair chance to determine if this the case to me personally. Thank you :)

Oh yeah, if you watched a couple episodes in the middle of the show, well, anyone would get lost with that! Anyways, I'm glad you started to watch this show. I love this show, but never finished it (I think I stopped somewhere in season 6, the second-to-last season). Watching with you gives me a chance to finish this series. The first few seasons of this show are some of my favorite seasons of any tv shows I've watched!

Yasssss I forgot how much I love this show! Can’t wait to see more reactions! It’s so addicting

It's sad that you stopped watching Once Upon a Time after season three, Sermalla. And I know that many fans of this show did too. I won't ever understand why. Because the creators and writers brought Frozen into Once Upon a Time? It's a silly reason. If you love the main heroes and villains, as well as a number of this show's many minor characters, then nothing should keep a true fan of Once Upon a Time from continuing to see what's to come for them all. Seasons four through seven are all fantastic, and I love them all!! Heidi

All of these characters come from their original fairytales written long before Disney ever existed. Some of these characters' story arcs and this show's storylines come from the Disney movies. But many don't as well. Heidi

Hi Heidi! I think I saw your name on a few other OUAT patreon reactions because of your in-depth analysis. It's great to see other dedicated fans of this series. I will admit that I stopped watching at season 4. However seasons 1-3 are creative, storytelling gold...especially season 3. That was the best, and it was sad when it ended.
JIM SCHMITZ
As I recall, it started with primarily "Disney" characters from their versions of the tales and then it grew.

I can't wait to see more of your reactions to this show!

Not just Disney stories, but the original fairytales written by the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen, etc..., as well as classic novels too! :) Heidi

From the general responses above, I see you might have a winner on an impromptu poll. I, too, have fond memories of the series, especially the creative way they wove the many characters together/a fairy tale about fairy tales. I hope you have an extensive background in disney-version stories.

Uhhh the best part about this series is captain hook. He is seriously the sexiest man ever. Damn. How did I forget about him. The 2nd you played this episode I thought of hook.

I really hope you decide to react to the whole show!!! I really think you will like it
