Unused Banished page for the end of the Robot Planet chapter
🕑 Added 2017-08-07 17:24:36 +0000 UTC The sketches I make for Brandon before he properly illustrates a page are generally not super detailed, and this is no exception. :xRak and his new crew fly away with Zeiss' robot colony behind them, and that's how the last chapter ended. Originally there was meant to be one more page showing a now composed Zeiss atop a platform with Fehr and her infected robot minions surrounding her.
Harnessing the power of the black hole, Zeiss generates a wormhole large enough for the entire colony to warp into and then...they vanish.
If you remember some of the conversations Zeiss had with Timbo, you might be thinking "Oh! They're warping to Strix 13." but you may be surprised. ;D
Reasons why this page wasn't used:
- I simply thought, when it happens, it'd be more fun when Zeiss & company arrive from the worm hole without any context or warning. Except...you guys now know...oh well! ;D
*spoilers*
The nature of their worm hole warp will distort time as well. What will seem like a moment to Zeiss will be a bit longer for everyone else in the galaxies.
