Update Delay
🕑 Added 2023-03-02 21:12:59 +0000 UTCFor those of you that don't know the upcoming update was planned and still will be just the 1st half of Chapter 2. I initially expected for the half to be small and shorter than Chapter 1. Thus, I set the release date for February two months ago. However, since that time, the scope of the 1st half of Chapter 2 has increased beyond the size of Chapter 1.
Even with the update becoming larger than expected, I still pushed to get it done by the end of February as I feared to disappoint you all with a long delay. That meant that I had to cut some parts of the content completely and rush with the rest of it just to have something ready by the end of February/start of March.
Now that I finally have made a playable version of the update, it feels buggy, unpolished, lacking some promised/expected content. This is just not the quality I wish to share with you.
Therefore, this time, I will need to make a proper whole month delay to get the game ready for it to give you the Dreamland experience you anticipate.
Trust me, I am just as disappointed and frustrated with this last-minute delay as you are, and I completely understand if you wish to cut your support.
I am really sorry for this big delay.

Just do not pull off a Nottravis where she has an endless amount of delays and an endless amount of excuses while everyone licks her ass. I'm kind of a cunt towards porn game devs to keep that balance of the type of support you get. Don't become complacent because supporters choose to be forgiving. We did pay money to support your game cause we really want it to happen. It left such a good impression on everyone and us paying money from our wage is us showing you trust. I've been so jaded by porn games like Mythic Manor and Milfy City, knowing that the devs were burnt out but wanted to squeeze every little bit of cash from their current patrons while they're not even working on the fucking game. Now does this mean I lost a bit of trust in you? Yes. Not significantly, but it has made me a bit skeptic. Because this was so last minute and I felt like you could of announced the huge month delay much sooner. But you do have a leeway for now, since you just started the game and you must of set unrealistic goals for yourself. But don't stress. Keep going. Good luck on finishing the new update on time.

Create the content you want to create without deadlines or pressure. We're supporting you because we like your creative content, not because we expect a delivery on a certain date. Better to see a quality update later than a subpar update sooner.

I'd rather you take your time, work on it at your own pace, and release it when it's ready. I don't know why AVN Patreons keep setting dates and then, in trying to beat the "set date," rushing and stressing themselves out more in the process. Like, just work on it naturally and release it when it's ready. Your patrons are willing to wait, and if they aren't, then F them. You're the boss. We go by the beat of your drums. I can and am willing to wait as long as possible, as long as you give me progress updates here and there.

Hey, man. The fact that you're giving us updates about the upcoming says a lot about your effort there. Please don't beat yourself up for not delivering it on time as long we're informed then it's good and it's not enough for me to cut support because of that I mean except for financial reasons. Haha.
