Sooney's cell
🕑 Added 2023-10-23 15:30:08 +0000 UTCHeys... After submitting to the fairy queen or losing to her, Sooney finds herself locked in a cell in a different part of the fairy castle. Guarded by a character that the player assumes for the scene.
It's turning out well so far. I've made the cell and hall leading to her room. The new character is done also which the player will only see from a first-person perspective. There's some dialogue between the two characters which I want to change depending on how many times the player ends up here, since it will be possible to land Sooney inside the cell up to three times. I don't just want the conversation to be the same for each interaction. The combat also will grow with each interaction as Sooney continues getting new moves each time she faces off with the Crimson Queen.
This week will be a lot of animating and testing, adapting to a different perspective. I've completed the Idle animation which begins the combat, after Sooney uses her Pixie appeal to lure the guard into her room. Next week I should have some pics of the actual combat, so you all have a better idea of what I'm going for with this scene :)

Yeah, it's humanoid and will play out a bit like the sproutette scene. It's a male elf. I'm trying to cover a few things with this scene.

I would have if it was a big chunk of the story, but this shot is the only one in the scene where she's actually wearing clothes....
Nice! Any hints about the new character, tho? Is it a pixie with a scene similar to Sproutette or is it something completely new like a Sentient Guard Bug of some kind? Can't wait!ππ»
