Helping Hands Chapter 2
🕑 Added 2025-04-03 12:05:35 +0000 UTCChapter 2 of Helping Hands, in which Harry, Luna, and Ciri, having spent months getting to know each other at this point, are having a rather typical day of debaucherous fun when the WIld Hunt invade the island. Their solution to that particular problem frees them up to start their adventures together, adventures which will take them to all manner of exotic worlds.

A/N: Helping Hands is going to be less a serious story and more a series of mini adventures in different worlds, so its release schedule will be less strict than my other stories. As such, this release slot will be used for the next two months to publish a pair of crack one shots that I hope you'll all enjoy. The second one will be the Daenerys and Ancalagon one from this week's poll, but first up I'll be publishing a one shot inspired by a comment I got on WItchcraft and Devilry:
It's his fifth year and Harry Potter is at the end of his tether. Between Voldemort, Umbridge, and Dumbledore's refusal to even look at him, he's never felt more hopeless. When Luna Lovegood gives him a book on devil summoning she picked up in a muggle bookshop, he decides he has nothing to lose and tries to summon Mephistopheles. Magic is a funny thing, though, and when he ends up pulling in a Mephistopheles from a very different universe, he finds himself in trouble, or he would if he hadn't had the map open, watching for the inquisitors. Why does it say he's named Thra'axfyl the Ambitious, and why did saying that name aloud just make him so thunderously angry?

Absolutely love it, and love the setup for their traipsing though other universes. Can’t wait to see where we go next.

Absolutely buzzing for a less serious story that features Harry, Luna and Ciri going on adventures in lots of different worlds. I can’t wait to see who they encounter and interact with. There’s so many awesome possibilities.
