As part of a deal worked out with Rhaenyra and Daemon, Helaena is given over to Jon's, Rhaena's, and Baela's custody, to live with the newly weds on Driftmark with her children. The three of them don't mind much and though wary at first, given everything, eventually get used to her presence, even if the way that she looks at Jon at times is decidedly odd. After discovering her hiding away in a secret passageway, her small clothes around her ankles and her hand between her legs, having watched them indulge in their passions together, they decide to offer her very different terms for her imprisonment.
