SubZero Vol I Cover Reveal + Sketches/Final
🕑 Added 2024-02-29 17:00:13 +0000 UTCAfter MONTHS or keeping this Illust hostage I'm stoked I was finally able to reveal it with the Volume I announcement! The sketches/lineart were done by me but most of the credit has to go to "K" my OP assistant who whipped out such a stunning final illust!
I started out making Kyro face away from the camera only to later ink him eyeing the viewer...only to then redraw him eyeing the viewer while facing away! (glad that solved itself)
The other difficulty I had throughout this process was deciding which version Orange/Blue I wanted to go with. I left the illust to sit in my files for a few months until I finally got a suggestion to turn Kyro's dragon GOLD! Alas this is what I went with!
