2024 Life Update + SZ Return

Frankly I'm not sure how to start this update as the last time I made a post on here I was pretty carefree and going to see my family for the Holidays. Long story short, things did not go as I'd hoped. TRIGGER WARNING for anyone who may not want to read any upsetting news! T_T
The moment I landed back in US I received a message that my grandpa had suffered a stroke on Christmas day and was in the hospital. From my understanding, surgery was not an option so the most we could do was wait. My grandpa ended up passing away at the start of Jan, so for the early part of the year I was home trying to support my family through hospital visits and funeral arrangements. It's still a bit strange being home and seeing grandpa's belongings. While I know he is no longer there, a part of me still expects to see him walk though the door.
SubZero is still my favorite escape from the awful things that happen to us. The little Clove/Raizo image was drawn 1 day before I saw my grandpa for the last time, so I'm sure the memory will stick with me. During the little free time I had, I buried myself in working on SZ while I could, but ultimately knew I needed more time to plan for a proper return. T_T WT was kind enough to understand my situation and gave me an extension to return in early February (Feb 4th is the projected date)! It's really not that far off but I wanted to let everyone know considering the previous return date I had announced.
So yes.... 2024 is the year of the Dragon after all, so I have my hopes that things shall improve going forward. The first Physical Volume of SZ (published by Oni Press) is a lot closer than you think and I plan on sharing what I can with you in anticipation. <3
I understand I'm a bit behind on rewards right now but thank you SO MUCH for your incredible patience and support! It truly means the world <3
