SoW: Celeb casting status
🕑 Added 2015-09-14 02:47:20 +0000 UTC Carmen Electra and Rachel Williams were previously nominated as the 'Fading Star' and 'Rising Star' celebs for SoW NPC parts but unfortunately there just weren't enough pix out there that would work for what I wanted to do (shocking but true!). Consequently, I've had to tentatively recast and would like your feedback on this. To repeat, these would be two celebs who are potential slave raid targets (if you get them) which you can sell, assign to brothel or keep for yourself. You aren't guaranteed to get them but if you do, they are a big plus. For Fading Star, I've found some Jennifer Anniston pix that work well and for 'Rising' some Maria Sharapova to add another Euro (nationalities represented include UK, US, Australian and, w/MS, Russian). I've also added another potential NPC known as the Informer, who I've tentatively cast with Kerry Washington.Please advise if these choices are ok-- I'm still open to alternatives as long as the content is there!

Suggest to keep momentum going that we re-address casting in alpha/beta-- we can always re-cast. I'm happy to try different candidates after you've had a chance to try game out!

Feedback as "board member": Love the Kerry Washington choice, but not so much Jennifer Aniston (never found her to be particularly sexy). Recommendation for Fading Star: Monica Bellucci (should be plenty of images on the Internet of Monica in various poses)... Recommendation for Rising Star: Megan Fox (you can find before vs. after cosmetic surgery pictures, if there is a forced transformation theme involved) or Jennifer Lawrence (easy to find photos for brunette to blonde transformation themes)

Not a problem, Selecta. I completely trust your judgement on how best to handle the development for Spoils of War. What you've been showing thus far has been very promising.
Just go with who has the best (fake) pictures out there. Really that should be the prime concern. Try Pamela or girls that feature in Playboy Magazine .

Hi esc- I really needed decent fakes to offer some 'options' I wanted to provide the commander and this involved different physical poses and lack of clothing. RW is a cutie but there wasn't enough explicit posing to meet the spec! Initially I wasn't as ambitious but as I thought about what the player would like to do w/such a celeb at this disposal, I had to open up interactivity options. As we're coming together as a mgmnt team, I promise to discuss thinking in future so a better casting spec can be put out!

I agree: If you found pictures that you could use, go ahead. After some thought, I do would like to see Jennifer Aniston as celebrity slave, so I definitely support her nomination.

If you've found models that would work best for Spoils of War scenes you had in mind, then I think that's perfectly acceptable. Not to give too many spoilers, but could you provide more specifics of how much/what type of content you needed? I originally picked Rachel Williams because I knew she had a variety of galleries/images available (though most are cheesecake/softcore in nature).
