It acts as an epilogue to it, since Rosa was the last of the princesses to fall, and with her beaten, Shroob's collection of princesses is finally complete, or at least, what she managed to salvage from each of them, each of their faces with the last expression they had before the end.

the princesses getting revived by shroob only to be killed again and again in more novel and cruel ways is a very interesting scenario with a lot of potential! extremely evil, but interesting and with potential nonetheless lol

Given the Shroobs’s advanced alien tech. It doesn’t surprise me that Princess Shroob could preserve their remains as trophies. She could probably also restore them if she wanted to, but only as playthings for her personal pleasure.
