🕑 Added 2024-09-24 17:46:31 +0000 UTCI like jumping into things fuck around and find out style when it comes to learning crafts and i'm trying to make OBS bot for my partner in blender as a gift but when i designed the legs for the original design i didn't really think too hard about the internal mechanics, but for the model i want it to Look like it would functionally work, right? but i also still want it to retain the obs bot look
so last night i spent a good hour or so studying various robot legs to get an idea of what the mechanics would be and what a better way to help cement it in my brain than draw it? i haven't done any mechanical drawings since high school CAD senior year so this was really fun but it's still a bit dubious and with no background in robotics I'll see how it turns out in the end! i know i'm definitely doing this the hard way by not doing smaller models with tutorials first or anything but that's what makes it fun 83 !!
