Does anyone know how to add characters to interactions? It is no where near as simple as the first game so I feel like i just got robbed..

A new feature enabling you to zoom into a timeline so you can set keyframes way more precise. When you have a timeline with the length of e.g. 10 seconds and longer, it's getting really hard to place keyframes on seconds. With that feature you would be able to zoom into that area so you can edit on split seconds again.
