Patreon Restructuring or Closing (Part 2)

I really don't want to close the Patreon, but I can't decide which options would work the best. i'm going to lose patrons either way, I'm sure.Two people have suggested other ideas to me.NEW IDEA A: Keep the option to have a guaranteed picture drawn every month, but increase the support point to a higher level, so that people who definitely MUST have art done by me every month can get it, but it won't be such a low price that it's so attractive that everyone decides to jump on that reward level.I both like and dislike this option. I like it because it means that the people who DEFINITELY MUST HAVE ART every month can have that, but I don't have to be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of art being done as rewards.I dislike it because I feel like a dick, like I'm rubbing my hands together in a "jewing intensifies" GIF while I watch and wait for someone to support me at ~50$ just to get art from me FOR SURE every month.NEW IDEA B: Introduce "Minbucks" or some other equally dorky name. The idea being that every person gets a number of Minbucks equal to their monthly support level, and they can use those bucks to big auction-style on being in one of a few themed patron-reward images each month.That way patrons have the option of being in images they have an interest in, but people who haven't gotten into an image in a while have more minbucks to bid on getting into the picture.This is another like/dislike thing, though. I like the idea of having a bidding-based system, and I like the idea of having a theme for the monthly reward pictures - having a theme I'm interested in is a good way of getting me more interested in drawing, and when I'm drawing a lot of things in one theme, I can get better into the flow of things (Just look at the Alpacalypse, Daddening and MILFening, they all went exceedingly well!)But at the same time, the people who are supporting for more each month have a ton more minbucks to throw around, and could easily outbid the lower supporters each month for several months.ADDENDUM:Part of what makes this so frustrating for me, is that I don't want to lock my art behind a pay wall. I don't want Patreon to be essentially a pay site for my art - I still want to post Dungeon Bois, Rita Drinks 1 and 2, and the other stuff I've drawn for Patreon on my FA. I don't want to be one of those artists who only ever draws to put things onto a pay site, because I don't feel that that's a audience-loving thing to do.However, that seems to be the best way to be successful on Patreon. The most successful Patreons that I'm aware of almost never post art publically, the only way to get art from them is to be a Patron, and the only way to see any art that they draw is to be a patron - and they probably only do private streams.I don't want to be that.But I need to make a decision soon, because the end of the month is nearly upon us.P.S. I don't think I'm going to be able to finish the Patreon Project for this month. Between suddenly getting sick, and a general lack of motivation due to all of this Patreon overload hubbub, I haven't been doing art very efficiently. Blugh.

Why would he need to up his pricing where the issue just involves the 15 dollar tier. I mean literally min was shafted by patreon for no raffles, and min set up wing its literally after he had no idea how to change the rewards for the 15 dollar tier. The 15 dollar tier is where the exact trouble of his art flow lies it's plain as day he needs to come up with an alternative for the 15 dollar tier.

Me personally I would be willing to pay about 30, though it's probably worth considering stepping up to 25 fisrt.

Honestly your main focus should be just restructuring the 15 dollar tier since that tier literally has 7 people, and the 20 dollar has 4 since patreon removed the raffles you had to literally put more work for yourself, and it's wrong, and it's causing you to make adjustments to all of the tiers you were fine with just a few people getting a commission for 20 bucks but now that raffles are gone, and you had to do wing its for 15 bucks everything has gone out of whack. Your actual focus should be a solution to the 15 dollar tier because patreon messed that tier up, and caused it. We could use the options to adjust the tier, and find out how to make less work for you for 15 bucks.

I'm worried that with the doodle thing, It wouldn't necessarily be a doodle spree, just whenever I decide to doodle some random stuff I'd have a pool of characters to choose from. Though, I'm worried I'd probably favor certain characters, and it might not feel fair... But as far as the queue goes, if you're supporting me enough to get on the queue, your position on the queue won't change based on the amount of money - just whether you get a Sketch or a Doodle.

That seems like a question for your own commission prices try asking for assistance from other patreons, and such, and look around for tips.

I liked the old ideas of B and C from your last thread, the doodle thing would be awesome. Just taking a random character and a kink they'd like and doing that. Though you could also do as a clean sketch too, in a setting or something they'd fit in. The art queue i could see, but that one also has its problems. What if someone was at say, 5 dollars, so s/he'd be near the back of the line, and felt like upping to 10 or 15? Would they get moved along the queue or remain where they are? Those are the problems i see with that one. So i lean more towards Idea B (the doodle-spree)

I like the 2nd option best in my opinion, but going with the first option I would gladly like an increase, but as long as the rewards are greater, because if you raise it to like 30 to 35 it's a fair price still, and plus not many people would want to save up that much for patreon where people would go to other places or stay where they are. And you have to, and must quit with the stress of having to come up with a pin up, or anything. Just post some of your art it doesn't always have to be porny man give us higher resolution pics for christ sake, and just post the rest on FA, or any other site. I do collect your sfw stuff to mate even if I like the porn you give out. Kind of like when I was discussing with you in the stream about wanting to see the slime pit story on patreon I want to view the whole thing in which should just be available here.

I am in favor of raising the tiers, it's the less complex way. Setting new fair prices might be tricky though.
