This one isn't necessarily a scene from a fanfic, but there was one that I have been reading when I sketched it that made me think way more of their dynamic and how things were unfolded! It's called "Hold your Destiny" by webcomic on AO3, it's set Pre-Calamity, and it is absolutely delightful and heart-wrenching in the best kind of way! https://archiveofourown.org/works/13590111/chapters/31195179
