hello.
It's been a year since the last post here, which is totally shameful, and people are asking if the patreon is still even a thing.
Yeah, it is.
Just turns out that without a formal deadline, we'll put off posting for an actual year.
So we're going to go for two updates a month from now on.
We've been working away, though!
Aside from the weekly strips, we're grinding through a big ol' story with Ivan, that first apprentice guy from a million years ago.
attached picture is some character designs and tiny thumbnails of the story.
so, really really mild spoiler alert, I guess.
Anyhow, couple of hundred pages of story, we've been drawing away, we're ready to start publishing pages, but we're trying to figure out how-
monday-wednesday-friday updates on the main site?
regular secret updates on patreon, release bigger chunks on the regular site?
something else?
would you miss regular random gag strips if they stopped?

Hey! We got a whole bunch of pages ready to roll, we've been distracted working a paper-edition book but we're finishing that up right now. Hopefully we're a couple of weeks off posting pages here. Thank you for waiting!

Hey there! Just wanted to say that your comic was kinda life changing for me. The way you combines humor & sex was just so much fun, that I decided to try and do a nsfw project as well. And worked out pretty well. I still read you work and still love it- thanks for keeping us entertained all this time! -Robin

I like to go on oglaf every Sunday and see what's new. I would miss the gag strips. I'm looking forward to the new book.
Like so many others I'm delighted for the future of whatever you decide to do. A story arc (and particularly THIS story arc) is always exciting. But the random gag strips are also great.. The more that I mused on all the comics you guys have produced, the more I thought about ALL of the great recurring characters you have. Like Grier, and Vanka, the girl from Good Behavior, Sithrak's Evangelists, the Snow Queen and of course Oglaf and the Goat Girl. (to name a few). And what if by suggesting that you just focus on this arc, those other characters (and any other new ones?!) get shoved aside? Horrible thought. So, yeah. I'm here happily waiting for whatever feels best for you guys. Also: Perhaps you're appalled by crass commercialism, and repelled by filthy lucre, but I hope however you release this stuff, that you do it in such a way that you get a goodly reflection of the work that you've put into it. And maybe that's just an outpouring of love here. But it COULD be the aforementioned filthy lucre.. and I suspect that many folks here wouldn't be opposed to that. Completing anything good let alone something of sublime hilarious ridiculosity (and sexiness!) is worthy of reward.
