the most beautiful night sky I've ever seen was when I traveled to south dakota to visit my cousin and one night after we left a festival in town we were told to hop in the truck bed. we laid down and watched the stars as we circled a massive lake in the middle of the country side for an hour or 2. that was the first time I ever saw the sky without light pollution.

funny - the day before (or maybe the day before that - it was 20+ years ago now) I graduated college my finger got caught in a closing fire safety door as I was trying to keep it open. Lost the fingernail a couple of days later.

Fingernails nah, lost them so many times that i got numb to it, but get a sheet of paper, and threaten to give me papercuts between my fingers and im done. If i had sleep paralysis, the sleep paralysis demon would be Konan from Naruto. I hate paper(that includes cardboard) to skin contact.
