considering that azik seems immortal. I'm guessing he's at least sequence 4 of the corpse collector pathway. Since that sequence is literally called undying.

When it comes to dream beyonder abilities, Klien is an oddball. It's mention in the early episodes, but the Grey fog let's him keep his mind when they are cast on him, so he doesn't always know he is in a dream unless he REALLY looks at it.

I’m curious if you’ve looked into warching the episode extras? The “learned material” ones you can probably watch in your own time to learn more. But might be interesting for you to tack on at the end the “chibi “ 3min shorts. They are listed along with the rest on crunchyroll.

This has also becoming a favorite series of mine as well. Looking forward to seeing even more episodes and even more of your reactions Luke. I didn't see if Luke had reacted to it before: but since he likes horror and mysteries, then "another" series I would recommend is Another.
