Im confused why the soldier, who had no experience with guns chose to shoot an unarmed girl. They stabbed her father. I get that they figured out she cut Jinshi, but they could have still easily apprehended her or cut her down like her dad. Obviously for plot reasons this worked better.

honestly i feel bad for Shishou, Loulan's father. He has done everything in his power to get her mother back, but she just chose to remain spiteful towards him when he still did his duties just to take her back. Shisui is the unfortunate victim in all this
