Blue space marine in the hands of Argel Tal

While I was making a trailer of the tutorial about painting the blue marine in the hands of Argel Tal I discovered that the white balance is a bit off, so I edited it and uploaded the video again.

Hi Darren! Thank you for your kind words! Before I start work, I take a few photos of the miniature that I'm about to paint, choose one of the front and one of the back that I consider to look the best, and then I try to copy the light and shadow composition from the photos into the miniature. During my work I take all the photos on my desk, in the same place, where I take the final photos too. Thanks to that, in my photos, light always reflects in the places where I paint reflections. The main reference photos is always uploaded on the first (or second) page of each of my PDF tutorial.

Hey I love your tutorials they are so good and you describe stuff so well thank you for taking time to do these for people like my self! I was wondering if you have a tutorial of how you decide on where to place your highlights I’m trying to follow your style of paint but struggling with putting highlights in the right places
