Yukari stirred awake, her mind foggy as she tried to recall how she’d drifted off. Before she could fully gather her thoughts, a shadow loomed over her. Her eyes widened in terror as she found herself face-to-face with Metis, towering above her with a cold, crimson gaze. Without a word, the mechanical being’s closed itself around her, gripping Yukari tightly.
“What the hell, Metis?! Let me go!” Yukari shouted, her voice cracking as the pressure around her body grew unbearable. Metis’s voice dripped with venom, tinged with an almost petulant malice. “You all stole her away from me...!” she sneered, her fingers tightening. “One down, six to go,” she muttered, her voice filled with mocking disdain. Turning toward the door, her lips curled into a smug smirk. “Guess I’ll go tell Sister the ‘bad news.’ Maybe this’ll finally remind her who really matters.” Her footsteps echoed coldly in the now-silent room, leaving behind only broken fragments of Yukari...
