I see what you mean. I never thought about that. Next time I make a text-post with attachments if that works better.

Instead of uploading them to a post, please make them attachments to the post. That way they're easier to download, and can also be downloaded on mobile.

You may be able to upload two images but I can't save them from mobile. I don't know if it's my phone or just the website itself.
