Ooh, the marine creatures embodied in the gesture of the shapes of the hair is that typical genius design of yours that I've seen only a few times since the Beneath the Waves challenge all those years ago. There's also a subtleness in her facial features which makes her look unmistakably indigenous, which is all but trivial to accomplish. Wow. π±

I like the cultural elements of this, but I think the hair flaring out almost like a cobra's hood or a halo is what does it for me.
