Work Process!

We hope you're all doing well.
It’s been a busy work week for us! So it was nice to take the weekend off, with a friend visiting us.
So while we continue working on the next few rooms (there will be four in the upcoming update!) and the mini boss, we wanted to give you a little behind-the-scenes look at our development process.
Most of the sprites and rooms you see in the game start out as rough shapes. We test them in-game during gameplay to see how they feel and fit, before moving on to detailing or other adjustments.
Below, you will find screenshots from the map editor as well as the early sprite draft of the dragon mini boss.
We hope you enjoy this little peek behind the curtain - and we can't wait to show you more of the dragon boss soon!

The mini boss will have two variations for the ending (depending on the grapple you lose to) which will both result in the same ending.
