I think the excuse for Jace zooming around the continent is that he has a dragon? Still a bit unbelievable tho, GoT/HotD is best when distances and geography are an actual obstacle

This is an incredible amount of weekly content, I hope you guys have lots of whatever the Westerosi equivalent of adderall is. I find myself really loving this portrayal of Aegon. His kindness to the smallfolk was a highlight of this episode for me (and dragoncock ofc). I wonder if he feels kinship with them since he's spent so much time drinking and whoring and child fighting pit-ing. And there's a desire to be loved and respected that he feels he doesn't get from his family but could get by being The Magnanimous. Love all the content! It was the first episode to really feature Jaehaerys, so I think they didn't show Daemon saying "son for a son" as not to spoil his death completely. The second non book readers heard that, they would know Jaehaerys is going to die, not Aemond.
