Commentary
That moment when you accidentally ship your boyfriend with a girl you look up to.
I gave not-Elliot the wrong hair in the previous comic, and even had to redo the inking of the character's outfit in the first panel, because I had drawn him in one of Elliot's standard black shirt.
To the shock of no one, it was a comic made while tired and distracted, and it wasn't actually intended as foreshadowing for this comic.
This comic is me making lemonade out of that lemon, as I did want to draw attention to these characters definitely being Elliot and Susan, but I wasn't sure how I was going to go about it. The illusions slipping in Ashley's mind certainly works!
So now, if anyone asks, it was definitely on purpose, one hundred percent.
