To be fair, there's not a whole lot of context I've seen it in. When I have seen it, however, it has been in contexts that I don't even want to repeat here, because NO.

Just to reiterate, all of these have been subjective views about what I and/or the characters would personally enjoy and/or prefer in video games. This is not suggesting all games should do these things.
I mean, I wouldn't complain if they did, but that's beside the point.
The Skipping of Thursday
I wasn't feeling well after the last comic, hence why this goes from Tuesday to Saturday. I'm feeling mostly better now. Well enough that I want to make comics, anyway.
Everyone's really supportive when I'm not feeling well, which I'm truly grateful for. On that note, I want to point out that I'm not ignoring self care by making comics right now. If I feel I need to take another break, I will, but my emotional state is improved via comic makery right now.
That, and I got some ideas for the main story that will seem like I totally had planned all along but totally didn't, and I'm hyped to work on that.

What would the Shive use for visuals? Demon duck, probably. Maybe some well-placed foreground elements.

Kindred Spirits on the Roof. But that assumes a visual novel is a game, which it might not be. But as a lesbian that VN was life changing for me when it comes to what is possible with video content.

I think Saints Row 3 and 4 did it well. Sure, they could have slapped a pair of briefs on the guys, but then you have the weird implied "mafia/alien bad guy strips them naked, but puts underwear back on them".

There's some literature genres with casual nudity on climate-regulated planets and demi-human species like centaurs and harpies not wearing breast-coverings in their daily life? Again, literature genres - much harder to translate that to visual media ;) ... ... And I just realized that 75% of my examples are written by Piers Anthony... So YMMV

How about game genres that don't get enough respect - and often get flack - because they're perceived as being targeted to feminine people? The Sims went for a long time of being dumped on despite having overwhelming market share. Casual / Hidden Object Mysteries / Clickers... Are visual novels games? ... Just throwing stuff out there. - You rock! :D

Glad you are feeling better. Hmm... Should game developers unionize in order to have better mental health and avoid the stress of release-date mandated crunch time? What's your opinion on low-poly and pixel art? Up for drawing Tedd and Grace in low-poly and pixel art styles? :D

Just a close-up of the "Angelic Tweeting Bird" strutting around in front of the camera, while risqué dialogue hints at the scenes not being shown. Followed by a week of the same scenes, without the bird, showing that the situations were all entirely innocent and clothed

My big question about nudity in games is *why* it's happening. If it's obvious that it's just there for fanservice, I usually find that pretty off-putting. I mean, I have an internet connection, I can see naked people whenever I want, I don't need it added to a game for no reason. :p But I'm having trouble thinking of a way for there to be nudity and have it be necessary or seem like a natural part of the scene. (Aside from sex scenes, but that's obvious.) Maybe in a game that involves competitive swimming and there's a dramatic confrontation in the showers?

Yeah, the big problem is defining what "nudity done right" is. I think the Sonic Forces "nude mod" that simply [spoiler]~~removes your OCDNS's shoes~~[/spoiler] is one way to do it right, but it may not be what everyone would expect of it.

Just because every game does it badly doesn't mean it can't be done well. ask yourself, how *would* it work if it was done to your taste? No idea what to do for visuals tho, that's a tricky one.
